The MS QC 1 B is a coupler for rapid and effortless mic clip and boom arm mounting. The clever two-piece construction of black powder coated aluminum and steel features a 5/8" female thread stem that attaches to the mic stand and a 3/8" male thread crown that attaches to mic clips or boom arm hubs. The smart groove and ball plus hex lock design ensures solid coupling and perfect alignment. The MS QC 1 B Quick Coupler includes a dual thread adapter to provide universal compatibility with all mic stands, clips and boom arms.

so much quicker to use!
this makes it so much quicker to use when setting up audio for a video shoot! no more having to twist a shotgun mic holder on and off. totally worth it.

Nice but heavy
This coupler would be much better for attaching a mic on a boom pole if it weren’t so heavy. Maybe they could make it out of aluminum instead of brass.

How is this so cheap?
Caleb Pike of DSLR Video Shooter recommended this coupler for boms and I have tonsay this is the absolute best bang for the buck piece of audio gear that I have ever purchased.

3 Strikes and your out!
Ok, so this is a great idea! Quick adapter to easily and quickly build and breakdown equipment. However, not so well. I went through THREE of these via Amazon Returns. The first had a loose spring that jingled around, NO I do not need that right next to my mic. The second one was super hard to open and close I had to use both hands, not ideal, the third opened super easily but then jammed and would not close. Its not worth it for me to go though the hassel to order a fourth. It feels like a strong product but the insides are extremely questionable. Im sure they have some units in stock that work fine, but they really need to step up there quality control.

Not fit for putpose
The media could not be loaded. Utterly useless. I bought 3 and they’re all the same. The units rattle like crazy and transfer stupid amounts of handling noise to the mic. Absolutely garbage product. DO NOT BUY

Slightly sticky first couple of uses
Decent enough for general use. Doesn't always engage 100% of the time, but as long as you spot and correct this, it is fine.

fast gut aber ausbaufähig
an sich is die idee klasse das man eine schnellkuplung am mic ständer hat der einen den fixen wechsel von mikrofonen ermöglicht allerdings gibt es 2 maßgebliche probleme bei der sache 1. die kuplung sind nicht auf passung gefertigt was bedeutet das das mic spiel hat was besonders bei horizontalen aufbauten problematisch ist bzw sein kann 2 der teil der am mic befestigt wird lässt sich nicht seperat erwerben was bedeutet das man immer wieder die komplette kuplung neu kaufen muss obwohl man eigendlich nur den am mic befestigten teil benötigt sprich insgesammt ne gute idee aber nich bis zu ende entwickelt trotzdem allerdings reizvoll für leute die mehrere mikrofone mit ein und dem selben ständer nutzen wollen

.... das Teil "rockt" ... perfekte Loesung fuer mich und mein ASTON ELEMENTS Microphone Combo. Da hier ein spezieller Shock-Mount und das Mikrofon fest miteinander verbunden sind (und wer das ASTON-ELEMENTS kennt, der/die weiss auch, dass man den S-Mount leicht modifizieren muss, um keine ungewollten Geraeusche mit dem Plosivschutz zu erzeugen) und somit ist die GAVITY Schnellkupplung die perfekte Loesung fuer mich und eine echte Empfehlung fuer alle, welche solche oder aehnliche Probs zu loesen haben
