Great
Better than ropes

Great but not for rock climbing walls.
It was a solid product but I returned them. I bought two for a rock climbing wall but these lock the moment they indicate a fall. I was looking for a resistance gentle let down to ground level. I’m sure they work great for construction type scenarios.

Cable constantly getting stuck
We replaced a steel housing guardian SRL with this one and noticed immediately that this one is far more “touchy.” You have to pull it down at a fraction of the speed, otherwise it locks up on you. Then about a week in to using it we discovered that 20% of the time it stops retracting about 5’ from the top. It seems like just a weak spring. Overall just feels cheap compared to the old workhorses.
