Perfect design for much more

This has been the go to oven for many reasons. Its size allows for cooking larger meals, baking quick breads and sweets that require larger pans, and that which a small toaster oven would not do. We regularly use it to make 2 regular 9" tins of quick breads, at least once a week to broil, to make sals-cheese-chips, large garlic bread, and use the rotisserie for a chicken (which was a bit complicated for us). So, for larger meals, baking or larger food items you wouldn't use needlessly in a large oven, this is a wonderful unit. May warrant 4.5-5 stars! But --- for toast, bagels, English muffins, we bought a regular toaster which toasts things so much more quickly without wasting energy (this large toaster-oven is more of an oven as it takes a little half the programmed time to reach the target temperature set to cook the item --- like the regular full size item)

Spring Broke in the Door

Spring broke on the door within the first two uses, but it still functions just fine. Just makes a god-awful creaking noise whenever I open it. Works fine otherwise, cooks a good Totinos pizza, haven't tried the rotisserie function yet as I can't find a chicken to cook.

Pretty good

Easy to operate but cannot adjust temperature on certain settings (like toaster). And maybe I haven’t made enough effort, but I cannot find a broil setting so far. Overall it works well and we’re pleased with it????????‍♂️

Cannot use anything other than Hamilton Beach accessories with oven. Read the fine print and user manual throughly before keeping.

Love My Hamilton Beach Toaster Oven

I have loved my Hamilton Beach 31190C since May, 2021. It has lived up to everything they said it could do. In fact, I haven't used the oven of my stove since then because the 31190C does more. The only problem is in the description where it says "LARGE-CAPACITY OVEN WITH 3 RACKS". My toaster oven only came with 1 rack. I would like to have just one more as I could certainly use two at a time. In fact, I have gone to Hamilton Beach's site to check out the racks. They aren't at all expensive, but the shipping costs much more than the racks or any accessories. I suppose the description was someone's error, but still, I feel cheated.

Don't buy this unit

I rarely write a bad review for anything. If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all is my usual motto. But in this case, I purchased a useless box of metal. I tried for two months to get this thing to work (read cook) and it failed miserably. It starts with a terrible Operating Manual that leaves out most of the directions of it's functionality. You literally have to unplug from the wall to start over every time you are punching buttons to get it going and you get it wrong. Tonight was the last straw. Put a couple sweet potatoes in it, set it for an hour at 450 and when it clicked off - they were uncooked. I can't figure out why, bad temp gauge? heat escapes? who knows. The trouble isn't worth it. The bad news - it's outside the Amazon Return window. I have to eat the machine. Hope I saved you from making the same mistake.

Absolutely love this oven for my craft projects!!

I'm a polymer clay artist and I've spent way too much time (years) trying to find an oven to fit my needs and my search is finally over *dramatic sob*. For any clayers out there, this is a wicked awesome oven, it's got great depth and the interior is way taller then anything else I've been able to find. The convection option ensures the clay heat cures evenly and comes out perfect. I've been using it for over a month now and I'm still totally smitten with it. A+++++

Looks awesome… works ok for my needs

Looks great BUT the dims are not right! I mounted a shelf based on the depth online and thankfully I added 4” so it just fits! It’s 12” depth plus the stoppers, not 8.74” and it’s about 3/4 an inch taller . The temp is way out too so you need internal thermometers, i turned it all the way to 450 and it barely hits 360 but it serves the purpose I bought it for . Nice and tall inside, great for sub.

I use mine for crafting. And my husband thought it was amazing with all the different options so I ordered one for him.for xmas. We are empty nesters so to cook in the regular oven seems so wasteful. He.loves it!!!

Great digital panel but doesn’t heat

I really liked the digital panel. Really easy to use & time adjustable even when in the middle of cooking. I had to return it though because it didn’t actually work. I tested it on more than one dish & each time after the allotted time for the recipe, the food remained undercooked. Not what you want in an oven! Too bad because the panel is so much easier than the new one (another brand) that I bought to replace this. Perhaps I received a dud but who wants to keep buying & returning until you get one that works?!
