Replacement order had same issue

These lights do appear to be durable. My initial order had one unit that only lit up 2 of the 3 LEDs on one side. Returned and received a prompt replacement. First one out of the new box, only 2 LEDs lit on one side, plus what looks to be white paint on the lens over the nonworking LED. For the price I expect them all to work. Still deciding if I want to do a second return or refund and buy from a different vendor. Other than that the units seem to be built well and the lights aren’t too bright.

2nd set of lights

Bought set of these in green in 10/2020. Activated 12/2020. Out of 8 lights, 3 remain. Got this new set today. So far I've replace x5 old lights with these. Today 2/14. I notice there is glue all over some of them including one with glue on Solar glass. Will update review in 6mo or first light goes out. Whichever comes first. I give 5 stars from start for speedy arrival. Shipping was fast, product not damaged. Update, this is my second set of lights in 2yrs I been in my home. Both sets, water proof-NO, water filled in 3 of them. Lights out on 4 of them. I didn't screw them down just for this reason. Why are you stating they are waterproof when clearly they are not.

Last a Long Time

This newest order of the same lights will be replacing the ones that are slowing dying after 8 years. Can't believe they have lasted so long especially in the hot NM sun. Most outdoor solar lights function very well with the amount of sunshine they receive, but the UVs and heat just destroy not only the poly solar cells but the external body of most lights. Not these. Still putting out but for a shorter duration. That is why I decided to purchase these again to begin replacing the ones that are just beaten down from the sun and heat over the years. Great product.

Not for my purpose

I returned. Lights looked well constructed, but I was trying to match up with some similar looking ones from jackyled which are not available anymore..I ordered 16 in which only 10 function. Water leaked inside. The jackyled were a bright green. Looked great on my dock. The Happybuy lights were very pale green and not very bright. They might be great for someone else, but for me wasn't close enough match to other ones I had. Longevity is major concern on solar lights .I've bought 2 different brands that some started to go out because not water proof. These maybe fine . I don't know because I returned in a couple days.

Only had these a few days...

But so far so good. They are as described and came in good condition. I took one star away because the batteries are not replaceable, as the units are completely sealed. Previous reviews were mixed on replaceable batteries.... some said yes, some said no. The product description should clearly state that the units are sealed and no access to battery for replacement. I'm hoping that they used good batteries that will last a number of years since the whole unit will be useless when battery goes. They are completely drained upon arrival since there is no on/off switch, so expect to need to charge them a full day in the sun before they will work.

Mounted to a gate so it is visible when opening at night.

Seller was very quick with a reply to my question that the lights were not turning on during darkness, only daytime. When there is sun is shining during the day, the lights will generate electricity, because the switch is not turned on, the electricity goes directly to the lamp beads, even though its daytime, and the lamps light up. So you need to push the switch so the lights are off daytime and then the power is stored and the lamps come on after dark. I use these on an motorized driveway gate so it is marked well when opening and closing.

i BOUT USED GOOD CONDITION

i bought these used in good condition but they were heavily used , the solar panels were frosted over and half of the lights didnt work properly or at all..
