Warm
My wife sewed an old sock in the pocket to hold a hand warmer. Very cozy.

Good product but I have more info
I don't write reviews with just how much I like (or don't like) a product. I try to give information missing in the description. I bought the Mossy hand muff. The photo can be a bit misleading in that it isn't as 'thick' as one might expect. I know the photo is showing it with hands inside, but it does seem to be a thick hand muff. It isn't. It is very thin. It has a thin fleece lining. Other information not clear is just what maximum waist size will this item fit. You'd think that a product going around the human waist would list the waist size it can accommodate. Anyway, if your waist is above 40" this will not work for you without extending the strap by stitching extra length to it. The USA CDC claims the average male waist is 39.7" which makes this item marginally useful for average or below average USA males. Considering the size of male hunters/sportsmen, the likelihood that the muff would be worn on the outside of a coat or jacket, I gave a 3-star rating for the manufacturer not making the item: thicker and able to accommodate a significantly larger waist size. It comes with two Heat factory disposable Large Warmer packs. The pack labeling is tricky at best. There is no written claim on how long the heat pack will last, however on the pack is printed, "24 HOURS/HEURES." One would think then that the manufacturer of the pack is claiming it will last 24 hours. Like I wrote, there is no written claim as to how long it will last or under what conditions the heat will continue. The pack is air-activated (it says). Maybe starving it for air will lengthen its heat generating time? Anyway, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get warm (over 125F), and one pack lasted (for me) 3 hours. During the 3 hours, hands were kept warm inside the muff. Outside (nighttime) temperature was 45F. No wind. My second use was to use my hands to adjust equipment settings in the cold night air, then back into the muff to warm up, then out of the muff to adjust equipment, then back into the muff, etc., etc. (Using gloves doesn't work for me since the adjustments are fine equipment adjustments and I can't control the adjustment if I'm using gloves). Muff time was over 3/4 of the time. In the night air temperature of 45F hands were kept warm. I'm convinced that the product would not be very useful for ambient temperatures below freezing, with the same type of warm pack. Multiple packs and/or packs of a different manufacturer might extend its low temperature usefulness, but its 'thinness' will still limit its ability to maintain the hand and heat pack temperature and insulated from the ambient temperature. Hopefully with the above additional information the reader can decide whether or not you'd like to purchase this product.

Cold Hands?
My husband has ice cold hands due to a condition. He loves this. Uses it all the time. And now his hands are no longer ice cubes.

Works well
Works well. Would be a good gift for a hunter, tradesman, or someone who needs a highvi hand muff to keep warm outside. It's thick enough to be wind proof, not sure about water proof. The fleece lining on the cuffs get wet easily if there is any snow , even flurries. What ever snow lands on it, melts once there is any kind of heat, like when your hands are inside. Other than that, it works well and would purchase again. It came with two really nice instaheat pads to put into the zipper pocket. I used it in -5f with wind and didn't need to use the instaheat pads. but if you are sitting still in a stand or boat, use the pads.

Not warm enough
The pocket for the heat pack holds the heat in the pouch more than warming my hands

Papa’s Warehouse business is the real deal and their hand warmer is pretty awesome too
So I bought this for my husband who is also a hunter and it seems that every time he goes to hunt it snows. The gloves he uses a very warm but at times bulky so I bought this for him as a Christmas gift. I haven’t given it to him yet but I’m sure he’ll like it and get much use out of this. But let me tell you about the seller named Papa’s Warehouse. They accidentally sent me a second one. I didn’t realize it until I opened all packages to start wrapping them (it just took me about 25 years to get myself this organized ????????‍♀️). Upon realizing this I immediately emailed them to let them know and provide the next steps to return it. Within 24 hours they responded to me telling me to just keep it and wishing me a Merry Christmas! This has never happened to me and I was speechless! I’m gifting myself the second one and am extraordinarily grateful for their generosity.

Keeps my hands warm and makes me look ridiculous all at once. Who could ask for more?
During the winter, I wear a lot of hooded sweatshirts that have pockets on the front, and I keep my hands in those pockets as they get pretty chilly. I decided that I wanted a front pouch for those times that I wore a sweatshirt that didn't have a pocket and immediately thought of football players. After striking out at a few sporting goods stores, I looked around on Amazon and found some options - pretty much all marketed to hunters. I preferred blaze orange to camo as I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get shot while watching tv. So far, so good. I wear it around my waist kind of like a fanny pack. Despite it being kind of big and bulky, it mostly lays flat, and I really was only annoyed with it when I had to go potty (had to twist it around for #1 or remove it completely for #2 - won't tell you what I had to do for #3). Also, my 3-year-old son was always trying to stick his hands in there or put his toys in there. Other than that, though, I was very pleased with this product. It kept my hands warm, and I don't mind looking like a doofus, especially if my hands are warm. It did come with some hand warmer things, but I never tried those, so I can't comment on how well they work.
