Looks good, works good on my stainless steel sink.
How long it will last I can't say, but it looks great, it was easy to install, and it connected up perfectly. I rolled out a cylinder of plumber's putty, wrapped it around under the lip, and pressed the unit down into the sink. I removed the excess putty on the underside, then assembled the unit and tightened down the main nut. I found I needed to wait a moment, let the putty squeeze out, then tighten some more. I did this a few times until it felt snug, then I attached the waste arm. Everything went smoothly and the unit looks good. Let's hope it lasts.

A pleasure to install?
Can I say it was a pleasure to install?? Yes. Compared to the big box store products. Here is why. When using the big box store basin drain, I needed to buy a 4 pronged tool to hold their basin drain in place while I turned the 5" nut on the bottom. Eventually, the basin wants to turn, thus you have to firmly hold the 4prong tool in the basin while you turn the nut from below. NOW, the Everflow. Because it has a cup along with the 1.5" tightening nut, as you turn the nut below, the cup puts EVEN pressure against the basin drain. The unit didn't want to turn in the sink, I didn't need other tools. I did it all from below, but kept an eye on the Everflow. It didn't move. It evenly pressed out some of the plumbers putty, I connected my pvc drains to it, and no leaks. Very nice quality all around. Solid brass nuts, stainless steel. The cup is made of steel, but with no water against it, it should never rust. NO pot metal. Stay away from the box store poor design, made to price point trash. These are worth a few extra bucks. I recommend these for anyone needing for their sinks.

Does its job well
We have a double deep kitchen sink that came with the house. It came with no disposer, so I installed one in the right hand sink. Well, with both sinks the same depth, water and junk were comin up in the left sink every time I ran the disposer. After installing this gimmick in the left sink, however, the problem was solved. Push down to lock the strainer in place, it provides enough "hold" to keep from popping open when the disposer is on. Yeah.

Great value
So far I'm loving it. I have a 12 yr old sink so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on new hardware. Getting the old drain out was a pain, but the install of the new was very easy, you don't need custom tools because of the design. TIP: I don't have the wrench to remove the old drain nut, so I used a hammer and chisel to spin the nut off.

Product Damaged
I bought this before so I know this is a quality product. This time I got a damaged item. It's Amazon's mistake of not checking it. It's a waste of time and resource shipping back and forth.

May rust over time.
Didn’t end up using it. It smelled like China and although the strainer is polished stainless other parts looked to be just galvanized metal, which I was concerned would rust after awhile of using any products containing bleach. Bought a nicer one for $34 from Menards and it appeared to be much higher quality. But this one might have been fine.

TOPNOTCH!
This is the third time I have used this drain style in my kitchen over 43 years of living in my home...and in my opinion there is NO better style! Very heavy duty...looks great...functions great and the little ball that is on the basket makes it so simple to stop water draining! I LOVE this and was so glad to find you are still making this style! THE BEST!!!
