Seems to seal large beer bottles (750ml, same size as wine bottles)

I emailed the HOST company to ask if this would work on large beer bottles, and they said no, it wouldn't. But since the inside diameter of the beer bottles was similar, and I liked the design of the stopper, I gave it a try. And it works! Just keep in mind that every time you open the bottle, you're depressurizing it, so more CO2 will end up coming out of solution each time. With that in mind, I try to finish the bottle the first time I reopen it.

It does the job and comes in two nice shades of blue, which was what I like best about it! Easy to use.

Loosely fit

Short diameter... does not fit tightly... very loosely fit... Not sure if the bottleneck in Canada is different size than Europe for wine bottles. Will not recommend for Canadian use.
