Awesome transformation Of the glove

I bought this for my kid’s newly bought expensive glove before I used this product it was a tough leather that was hard to bend after I used it was very comfortable and my son uses that glove at every baseball game

Best stuff on the planet

If you need to break in a glove- this by far been the best and quickest results in 40yr. Used on both my sons glove after trying my medieval process w saddle soap and and ball. It is fast and easy , we were done in 20 minutes and it was like it was 100 yr old soft leather. Totally amazing!

This product really works!

I ordered this product because I had a glove that was not used for over two decades and was stored packed away in a box with a lot of weight on top of it. The glove was dry as cardboard (literally) and folded in half (thumb over the fingers) and was difficult to put on and open up to receive a catch. My little leaguer's vinyl glove was brand new and difficult to close to receive a catch and he mostly just held it out like a basket in the hope the ball would stay in the open glove during a catch attempt. I really had my doubts about this product helping vinyl. I followed the directions and liberally applied the product to the old glove and after three applications and heat treatments, along with the included lanolin and vitamin E finishing product, I have a restored glove that is soft and supple and easy to use. I treated the vinyl glove once and, to my astonishment, it is now soft enough for my young player to close the glove in order to make a catch. I am not a professional reviewer and only write this review because I am completely satisfied with this product and its performance.

Hard times don’t have to be so hard

This is the only way to break in a stiff hard glove if you are short on time or doing it for your daughter. Girls are not going to finish the breakin process playing catch with a stiff glove or using it in a game. This is the best way. 2-3 treatments with a glove mallet to help. THEN some mandatory catch to finish it off to her hand and grip. You can get 15plus treatments from this kit.

Makes your glove feel semi-pro at the least.

I only write reviews after a product meets or exceeds my expectations. I am not a ball player. I gave up after the pitching machine seemed to fast. But, my brothers are. One of them was drafted (if that's the right word, I went military instead) to the Mets minor league team. When I wanted to play catch he let me use his glove. We have similar sizes (XL) but I could always tell he was hesitant. I see why now. His gloves were the product of practice and a lot of it. They felt great in my hand but how do I get a glove to feel like that without the effort he put in? Hot glove did the job. I just wanted to play with my kids. I bought a decent Rawlings on his recommendation. Never felt quite right, even after my excruciating practices with the 6-10 year olds...anyway, after using the hot glove treatments maybe 1 or 2 times more than necessary, I have a glove that actually fits my hand. The leather has turned into a good looking wallet. (After using the conditioner) and snaps like his did. I would rather give a 4 1/2 star review because I don't like the bands much for storage. They are just ~1/2" rubber bands which seem to strangle the glove more than the wrap Rawlings offers, but the kit does the job regardless. My pocket is formed and the glove fits my hand with almost no effort. 5 stars for the family man or anyone else looking for fast results.

Great Value, but DON'T BAKE YOUR GLOVE!

Just use the glove conditioner, the whiffle ball and rubber bands to create the pocket, then just go play a lot of catch or use a glove mallet to complete the break-in process. Great bundle for a great price. As per the experts, they say not to ever put your glove in the oven or the microwave, and guess what...They're Right! I baked my glove with this stuff and though it broke it in well, it completely dried out my glove. Now every time I use it I have to grease it up good with the glove conditioner so that it doesn't look all dried out and cracked. This set up is good for the conditioner and rubber bands only. For the price you can't beat it. I'd just caution against baking your new glove. It broke mine in well, but completely dried it out.

Great product

After trying to use another glove conditioner for two months, this product did the job the other failed to do. I was really impressed with the results. After two applications the glove was broken in. The only warning I would give is be aware that if your glove has a dye, it will come off a little. But besides the dye coming off a little, it’s a great product.

Great product!

Works great but you might need more than one round of break-in depending on condition of glove. I’ve used on all my daughter’s glove and believe this is the best break-in product for those that don’t have hours and hours.
