Very nicely made product.

My favorite local bar uses a shaker like this to mix cocktails so I thought I'd give this a try. It works very well and fits the US Pint bar glass (one is included in the kit; it's the same size as the usual beer or iced cocktail glasses at our local bars). The metal shaker that my bartender uses is a plain conical shape and I watched her slide the shaker and glass together and noted that that seemed to fit well. The Houdini shaker has a slightly curved "waisted" shape and I wasn't sure that it would fit as sell as the simple cone shape but - having used it - it seems to work very well indeed. Others have reviewed that it's difficult to separate the shaker from the glass - I found that if you shake your drink, hold the bottom of the glass with one hand and the narrow end of the shaker with the other hand (with the glass and shaker upright) and push the open edge of the shaker sideways - such as on the edge of a bar - it pops right off easily with very little leaking or dribbling. It's sort of one of those "try it a time or two to get the feel of it" things but it's easy, especially after you've done it a time or two.

Leaks

So, this was a replacement for a different one we had that broke. It looks very nice,but I thought I saw measurements in the picture, not just measurements for recipes...not that big a deal. Although the cover seems to fit well, it does leak a bit when shaking, so I suggest shaking over the sink.

Great for pour over coffee!

I didn't buy this for cocktails. It's perfect for a coffee pour over when camping or traveling. Turn the lid upside down, add a filter and you have a pour over coffee maker!

No measuring!

I bought this shaker because of the pour lines for my favorite drinks right on the glass. It's super convenient to ditch the shot glass and measuring cup and just pour directly into the glass, knowing the drink will turn out perfectly every time. It has measurement lines for one drink or three drinks, so I like to go ahead and put the ice in first and pour to the three drinks line for a double. The only negative is the weight of the glass. It's so heavy and a bit wide for my hand that I'm afraid I'll drop it. The tradeoff, though, is that it's not going break easily.

Could not open shaker cap out of the box

Glass looks nice It is the largest I have seen Opened the box and the shaker cap was absolutely welded shut Hoping my replacement works better

Nice quality

The quality of the glass shaker, metal cover & silicone gasket is great. The measurements on the glass ore easy to read. My only issue is the overly narrow base of the glass. It is easy to knock this over. If the base were wider, I would give 5 stats. Also, very good protective packaging.
