I bought a new camper , down size to 26 foot, first trip the camper had bad sway unlike anything I have ever pulled so I studied up and found that up to 21 foot camper needs 1 sway bar and anything over should have 2 (right and left) so I ordered 2 and after proper adjustment took all the sway out best investment I've made in towing I highly recommend.

Helps a bit.
I purchased the right hand and left hand version of this sway control. I pull a 30' trailer and its recommended you use both sides if it is over 24'. The installation was easy and straight foreword. It does seem to make a difference while towing about 90% of the time keeping the trailer straight. Still ran into some high wind situations that got things swaying a bit. The only issue I had with the kit was the ball you mount on your receiver. One of them broke at the threads during a trip. There was a loud snap after driving fifteen minutes into a trip. I pulled over and found the ball had snapped. I had to take that side off for the remainder of the trip.

hardware quality very cheap
You would think that something like this piece of safety equipment should be very well secured with the hardware that you're installing it with. Naturally you would want the bolts nice and snug. Just be SUPER CAREFUL because these bolt heads will shear right off with just enough human torque, not maximum strength excursion either. And this happened to me with 3 of the 6 bolts provided so I decided i wasn't going to take any chances with this product and so I packaged up the entire assembly back into the original packaging and attempted to send it back. Unfortunately I waited to long to send it back and no longer have the option of sending it back. $55 down the drain.

can't really gave a full rating due to the fact ive only attached it to a 10ft trailer that I hall our utv side by side that i'll be towing behind our 40ft fift wheel. when we head south this winter. I added this sway control as safety precaution because of the link of the fift wheel possible sway action.

Functional and beneficial for safety
This device was straightforward to install and utilize. Crossing diverse terrain required every safety and vehicle enhancement accessories. Well worth the money to improve your safety and increase the enjoyment of pulling a trailer.

Perfect for my Lance 1575
I purchased this and a Curt sway control hitch, had them installed by an RV repair guy and I couldn't be happier. Yes, if they're adjusted correctly, they will make screeching noise, but they're supposed to and only when you're turning corners and slow speed, like in a parking lot or an intersection. Highways you never hear it. Highly recommended, but I did NOT install it so not sure of ease of install.

Almost perfect
Mostly a good product with easy to follow installation instructions. I just wish there was a better system to hold it onto the ball at both ends other than those mickey mouse little clips as the one closest to the trailer bent during first use on the road.

Poor shipping. Great product
Shipping was slow. And then it was shipped inside an oversized box with a package of transparency paper I had also ordered. Needless to say the paper lost the battle. Very poor on Amazon’s part. As for the sway control bar, I’ve used them for years, works great. Just don’t tighten them too much or you’ll bend or break something.

Quick replacement
I over extended my last one maneuvering the trailer into a tight spot and broke one end. This is an exact replacement that was available quickly from amazon. I now remove it before doing any tight maneuvers. This one is very quiet compared to the original one
