I LOVE the look of these curtains. It was exactly what our room needed.. white with a little bit of detail. They are not black out curtains but definitely room darkening. However.. the back tabs weren’t seen great. The first tab does not start at the edge of the curtain. So the edges kinda hang forward awkwardly. And the worst part…. These curtains SMELL!!!!!! straight of the packaging a horrendous smell of mildew. I’m worried to wash them and I think the embroidery may bleed its color into the white or come unraveled. I left them out for several days to air out… no improvement… throw them in the dryer with lint sheets… they still reek.. I’ve doused them in Febreeze.. they are now tolerable enough to hand but if you sit next to them for too long you can still smell them. Next stop: the dry cleaners
