Fantastic works great nice mesh very strong.

Works great
For the price it is perfect for most homes. It does not have any way to move the person horizontally but the assist from falls is invaluable.

Don't like it, but I gotta have it
Arrived first day of spread they gave me, so that was a very good thing. Goes with the sling I ordered so it'll work. However, please NOTE: The attractive greenish outline pictured around the chain assembly "kit" is just that. A computer graphic. You get a naked chain (shades--no pun intended--of Jacob Marley) to clank around loudly in the presence of your hapless, perhaps even confused and/or anxious, patient. I mean, after all, having to take a ride in one of these things has got to be like involuntary ziplining minus all the fun; why not add a little sound effects for entertainment....The "kit" consists of....*drum roll*...THE CHAIN. Well, 2 pieces, so guess it can technically be called a kit. Nothing to put together, though. Nothing to assemble. Just rattle it around loudly (seeing as how it does NOT come encased in an attractive, green-or any other color-acrylic sleeve). As for steel and all that, well, probably. Does appear to be well made. The S links on the end are tightly closed, so any sleeve added would have to be split; the O rings in the middle of each length are also securely closed. Also, this kit does go with the mesh seat I mistakenly ordered instead of the body sling, so that's a plus. I am really thrilled here. Again, I choose to forego Amazon's convenient and reliable return policy--so that finally, after several weeks of ordering and reordering, all while we power lift Dad off the floor and continue with our PT and chiropractic--we can just use the darn thing. Seeing as how I am fortunate enough to not have a patient who is so sensitive to loud noises that he goes into spasms (he just gets paranoid and agitated), perhaps some day I'll go searching for and order a length of acrylic tubing for it (any shade but green). Like when I have time. Like after I don't need it any more.

Sling & Straps worked great
Most important is that it fit correctly when paired with the Invacare straps. Our daughter, a former ICU RN, showed me how to use the sling and properly adjusted the straps prior to usage. No issues during usage. Quality of both the sling and the straps is good.

Works well
The seat works well, as advertised. I bought the chains and haven't tried the straps. The chains hurt the person in the seat. I sewed chain covers that help somewhat.

They hurt!
The chains work for the purpose of holding a human. But, bigger folks have arms and shoulders up against the chain and that hurts. You must either find covers or sew some. Next time, I will buy straps.
