Easy if you have used one of these before

Pretty simple but had to watch a Utube to figure it out. Did not realize the little black spokes moved up and down, duh! Could have been better explained.

MECHANICAL timer. Now dead

It is a mechanical timer, not "digital" as the title claims. I revised my rating to 1 Star because the motor is now dead, which is exactly why I purchased a DIGITAL timer as this advertised itself to be. You set the operation times by depressing mechanical switches (one for each 15-minute interval), and the dial is rotated by a small electric motor (mechanical), which activates the power on-off. It works as expected, but I was disappointed because I chose it specifically because it is advertised as a DIGITAL PROGRAMMABLE timer. Particularly I didn't want to depend on a tiny electric motor that going to burn out after a certain number of hours of constant use and which may be vulnerable to humidity.
