Good hermit crab heater.
My hermit crab was happy this winter! Seemed to be just the right amount of heat. I was worried that it isn't an adjustable temperature, but worked out fine.

Use It At My Coffee Bar!
I use coconut oil and local honey in my coffee for the health benefits. In the winter, my honey gets thick and my coconut oil goes solid, so it's impossible to squeeze either out of my bottles. I used to microwave my coconut oil but discovered that heating it this way destroyed the beneficial properties that were the reasons I was using it! So, I set this pad on the bottom of a pretty iron basket, then set my oil and honey on it. Now, I have melted treats every morning for my coffee! I love this safe, low-heat pad!

Control temperature for countertop fermentation of sauerkraut and kefir.
On its own it is a little to warm to leave on constantly. I have it on a 24 h manual mechanical timer that I have set to cycle on and off every 15 minutes. Maintains ~72F on my sauerkraut and kefir ferments when the ambient temperature is 68-70F. I fit 2 quart mason jars on the small mat at once; each about 70% on mat/30% off mat. This brand was recommended to me by the amazon vendor I bought my kefir grains from, but the timer hack is mine. Very happy with purchase.

Works
Had this for about 6 months & still works great. I have it plugged into a regulator that keeps it at 85 degrees. It's a good fit for my large 55 gallon tank.

Very nice pad, great adhesion, but comes rolled up tight!
Very nice heating pad, but it comes in new, and very tight packaging. The pad arrives without the adhesive strip installed, and rolled up tightly to a <2" diameter narrow plastic tube, and box. First you have to flatten out the pad for a couple of hours, then carefully remove the back (opposite the printed side) of the adhesive tape. Start out at the top, and work it down the pads back a little at a time to the bottom without creating air pockets. After all that, it is ready to install on the tank (enclosure). The new 3M tape appears to adhere very well to the glass for good heat transfer. The new pad is also much thinner for a cleaner look. I still recommend it...
