Good, but with surmountable design defect.

It is hard to find affordable, large, portable flour storage containers that will seal well against entry of kitchen moths. These nice, convenient containers will do it at a reasonable price. But there's a problem with the design. The hinge for the lid is entirely molded of plastic, and it is quite difficult to assemble so that the lid will latch tightly. It takes a lot of force. A person with strong and nimble hands can do it, and then the lid will operate as intended and latch securely with a good seal. The plastic hinge pin molded into the lid must be forced into two semi-circular plastic receiver sections molded into the storage bin. This is a cheap and common arrangement for hinges on plastic containers and always a weak spot. If you succeed in getting the pin to snap into place, which is difficult, the lid will them operate and seal properly. But this arrangement, like most other 100% plastic hinges, is subject to wear, distortion and fatigue failure. If you use this bin daily, do not expect to get more than a couple of years service before hinge failure. If only a metal pin and keeper had been provided in the hinge design, these bins would represent an outstanding value. Better to pay another buck and get the same thing with a metal pin hinge, if only such existed at anything like the price of these otherwise very good storage bins. They hold 50lbs of flour and are easy to roll around on a smooth floor.

This is the perfect size for my need

I wanted something large enough to hold the 33# bag of dog food that I buy BUT I wanted to leave the food in the bag. This container will fit the entire bag but because the container is square, I have to position the bag on a diagonal...where the sides of the bag are facing 2 of the corners of the container. It works perfectly. I keep the container slid under the shelf in my utility room that holds my laundry baskets and it's very easy to roll back and forth. It's a very good product for an extremely good price...glad I purchased it and I highly recommend it.

Perfect for pet food

I got this for my dog's food. The maneuverability is perfect, it rolls in every direction I need it to go. The lid stays closed and locked so that she cannot get into it. It's sturdy and air tight. It's easyish to fill, just have to hold it against something so that it does move around too much (if you have difficulty lifting 35+ pound bag.) I don't have to open the lid to see the food level, just wish the lid color came in other colors.

Good for my cat's food

I get auto-shipped 20lb cat food bags and this storage container does the trick. The food fits int here nicely and the container rolls around smoothly. It seems to close pretty tight and keep the food good for longer than it is just sitting in the open bag. I wanted something that could hold a decent amount of food but isn't too big and this container does the job!

Good container

This is a good container. I buy the 34 pound bag of Nature’s Recipe dog food and it fits in here, in the bag. It seems sturdy too. I’m not completely sure it’s airtight because the cover doesn’t seem to fit perfectly. It’s very close, but seems off a tiny bit. It was easy to assemble the lid and wheels and only took a couple of minutes. I didn’t like the packaging. The tape on the item was excessive. There were three long strips of packing tape going across the entire length of the top of the bin. I think connecting the lid to the bin and locking it would have been sufficient, but even one small piece over the lock would have been better. I also don’t like the stickers on the front. I had to really scrub to get the stickers and tape residue off. I would prefer the stickers be on the bottom or back sides of the item. The package with the wheels was ripped open and only one shell was actually in it. They were just loose. The lid was also very dirty when received. These things don’t affect the use of the product, it was just kind of annoying. I would still recommend the item.

measurements are NOT including the wheels

I ordered this with the intent that it would roll under the last shelf in my pantry - I measured and had just the right opening. But, once you add the wheels, it doesn't fit. I won't return it though, too much work. It's good quality. Just disappointed about the measurements...

Perfect for rice / flour storage

Makes a Great Flour Bin!

As I bake my own bread, I go through a lot of flour buying it in the 20Kg (~45lb) bags. I've been looking for a rolling flour bin for a while, and finally decided I'd give this a try. It works well, but has difficulty going over small rises such as from linoleum to laminate flooring. As this is rated for pet food, I just put the bagged flour into the bin. When I have about 2Kg left, I put a new bag under the old, to use up the old first. This has been a great addition to my kitchen! I no longer have to lift those heavy bags.

Very Very Happy

I have been humming and hawing about kibble containers for such a long time. I decided on this one because of the wheels. I purchased two of them, one for cat food and one for dog food. I have a very small pantry and these two containers fit side by side beautifully. The locks may not 'click' shut but as long as the containers keep whatever bugs out I'll be very happy. I just pull out the one I need and then slide it back into the cupboard. They are compact, high, so they hold a lot of food....really happy with this purchase. I don't have these big bags of food that I used to struggle with, and as you know, some bags have no closures and the ones that do don't work half the time anyway.

Money well spent!!!

Have purchased other dog containers in the past and have never found one that fit all our needs. They were either too wide and bulky, didn't have a good seal or it didn't hold the whole bag of dog food. I would highly recommend this product!

Value for money ! Works Good , Medium sized container on wheels !

The media could not be loaded. The material is about the quality of plastic generic Tupperware from Walmart ! But works well for what I intended to use it for . Fits 15 Kilos kibbles easily. Came the Next day ! Even though it said 7 days . ????

Not bad except…

So I bought this for my older dog to hold his food so our new puppy won’t chew the bag open and it holds at least 30 lbs (14 kg) of dog food. My only issue is the lid doesn’t use a rubber ring to keep it airtight, it’s some type of styrofoam. If you remove it then the lid doesn’t close properly. Just a design flaw but other than that it works fine
