Purchased for our 7 year old
Our son is really into ninja warrior (takes weekly classes) and has been wanting a pull up bar. It is sturdy and hangs nicely from his bedroom door frame. The size is fine for him (although we use a step ladder that he slides under it to get up and reach it, then we pull it away once he's up) and the various hand grip locations are nice. The size of the bar is not too big for his hands. Only concern... twice it has fallen down with someone on it. I believe it happens if there is any swinging front to back, which causing it to dislodge little by little and eventually slip off the back. It always seems to fall on someone who just got on and isn't swinging, so I think it was wiggled loose prior. Now we know to nudge it into place and test the security of it before each use (and haven't seen any concerns or close calls). Just worth mentioning that you need to make sure there is no swinging or rocking.

Solid construction
Well made and sturdy bar. It's a temporary installation that just hangs on the door (and there's a little safety latch to help mitigate lateral/swinging movement). Luckily the physics work well for this bar for vertical movement so I'm not sure the little safety latch is necessary. This bar is very well-suited for beginners. There's an instruction sheet with exercises, nutrition tips, etc for getting started. Customer service is very responsive and surprisingly able. I think this is the first review I've written. I am impressed with this product. Downsides (giving a 5 star review; these downsides are minor): - Following the installation instructions with the long bar below the curved bar it can hold my weight. I think I'll reverse it to have the long bar above the curved bar. - Made in China. - Comes with bar that fits doorframes 24-32 inches wide. There's an extended bar wider doorframes that fits doors 34-38 inches wide (explicitly mentioned in installation section in the instructions). I got mine after contacting customer service, got a prompt response and a 100% satisfactory response (mostly the extended bar is very cheap).

Good start for shoulder strength
I am a beginner fitness enthusiast. Push ups on the floor are v. hard for me. To help strengthen shoulders, I ordered this Pull up bar. - Quick assembly, quick to hang up on the door: 30 minutes. - no funky smell from the equipment, super happy about that. - I have not nailed or glued anything to the wall. - I have added some of the package wrapping around the bar where it touches the door to avoid black marks. I make sure NOT to swing on the bar. I try to just hang down for 30 sec reps so far. It is v. hard. Only invest in this if you are serious about a goal to do a pull up. Watch 3-4 youtube videos for beginner pull ups before you purchase to get an idea of the effort involved.

Better and improved!
I finally replaced my old iron gym bought in 2005 and still works but the foam was gone. Now, I just replaced with the new one. The foams feel sturdy and like gel, shouldve replaced sooner. The foam part that touches the door frame is now plastic (which is better). Love it then and love it now!

2 weeks review
So far it's holding up my weight 160 lbs and really sturdy. No noise and did not destroy my door so far. Having fun doing a lot of pull ups and getting ready for muscle ups!

Cheap and definitely worth the money
I bought this product about 3 months ago and it's really easy to attach to the door frame. Extremely sturdy and the pull-up bar can hold a lot of weight.

Easy to install, works like a charm!
It’s easy to put together but I had to still look over the instructions a thousand times but that’s cause I suck at putting things together anyway. Love it regardless and happy to say I use it more than I anticipated!

It works
So far it works fine, seems good quality and the bar is very light so easy to put on and off the door. The actual bar is made of 2 pieces and it bends quite a bit - we'll see how long it lasts. Info on the box reads 100kg max load - keep this in mind as 300lbs mentioned in the listing here can be dangerous (that's 36kg/80lbs difference).

A few adjustments as it did not fit the door frame.
Seems sturdy. Easy to assemble, tad there are 4 screws and it comes with a wrench. And the metal tubes are pretty solid. When assembled it was too wide for the door way. I took off the rubber end caps and cut off 1.5 inches off each side and then put the rubber caps on again. Fits perfectly. I also wanted it higher so on the backside of the door frame I secured a piece of wood that boosts the bar up about 2.25 inches. This will also help with the weight (I’m 220lbs) on the moulding around the door. The only thing that puzzles me is that everything is metal but the bar that rests horizontally on the back of the door frame. It’s plastic. Seems somewhat durable, but I wonder if that will be the thing that might break. We will see. ***Update (3 weeks later): solid and functional. I’ve done about 900 chin ups/pull ups on it, and it flexes, but it is sturdy and solid. The foam pads have ripped a bit, but I just use hockey tape and wrap the handles. No other issues. Great purchase.

Great piece of equipment for at-home workouts!
This was a great, sturdy piece of equipment that worked as intended. My only word of caution is if your door frame is thin, it can fall off easily. Also if the door frame trim is low quality, it will become damaged over time.

Good Quality One.
It's good quality one, but not compatible with many of Indian standard doors. Good thing is, the package come up with a clamp also can use it for the non supportive door.
