Nice attractive wood! Exactly as Advertised.

Very nice looking and functional. I love having this for storing my tea, rather than having all of the boxes. I really like having this quality storage option for my tea bags. Love the way ot looks on my counter.

Huge box rustic finish

I like this box a lot although I feel is a bit oversized for regular tea bags. I like the rustic look and it opens and closes smoothly. The only complain I have is the top lid. It is all scratched and marked not at the level of the rest of the piece

Functional, but more of a rustic finish

The Ironwood Gourmet 14" Cornwall Tea Box holds a good amount of tea. It has a beautiful wood grain and the compartments are a great size. Despite this, the craftsmanship is not top notch, and I would describe the finish as "rustic." A wooden box with similar compartments was always the first project completed for high school wood shop class where I grew up. This box was a little rough, with uneven gaps between the box and the lid, gaps inside, and uneven stain application. For shop, it might get a B if the shop teacher was feeling extra generous. Also, I didn't realize the lid was acrylic- my mistake there. For a list price of $31, I would hope that the lid would be real glass, or at least not scratched up with messy glue marks at the corners and edges. Fortunately, having the tea inside is enough of a distraction from the scratch marks that it doesn't look too bad once set up. Overall, I would have been happier with the condition of the piece if the price were lower (to temper my expectations), but at this price point, it was a bit of a disappointment in quality.

Cracked

I read many comments here mentioning the finishing is rough, the one I received isn't rough, mostly smooth and quite nice. But what is upsetting is that the wood is cracked where one of the hinge is, making this box unless as every time I open the lid I can see the crack being pushed further out. There is also a long scratch on the clear plastic window. The manufacturer really need to work on their quality control. This would have been a beautiful teabag storage box.

It’s okay

I was hoping this tea box would be one of those nice ones you see in restaurants but it isn’t. The wood is really rough, almost to the point of causing splinters. The top doesn’t stay open unless you hold it open which makes filling it inconvenient. I’m pretty disappointed with this tea box but it does hold a lot so that’s a plus.

Large and Deep Tea Box

This tea box is very large and has deep compartments. The wood is very pretty and I love the patterns of the Acacia wood, but it is a rough finish and the edges are a bit sharp. The acrylic lid is nice to keep your tea bags clean. The acrylic is very thin. The compartments are big and deep, so I would either keep an organized look with large tea pouches or just toss in the smaller tea pouches because you won't be able to see the small tea pouches over the edge of the wood. It's nice to have all my tea in one place, just keep in mind that this will take up a lot of counter space. The tea box does look nice sitting on my counter, though!

Simple, a Little Rough but Very Attractive

This generously sized box keeps your teat tidy and at hand. Each of the eight compartments is big enough for even the fanciest tea. It's large, over a foot in length, so check that you can accommodate it before ordering. The top is unbreakable acrylic, and the main box is made of simply finished acacia wood. It was a little rough when it arrived, so I ran a piece of sandpaper over it and, all good! We drink a lot of tea, and I hate having four or five half or almost empty boxes in my pantry. This solves that problem :)

The Lid was made if cheap plastic considering the cost. Other then that this was a nice storage box for my tea's & tea bombs.
