The JAECO/Rancho MultiLink MAS is a lightweight anodized aluminum arm. The three articulated segment gives this design a more compact profile without sacrificing range of motion. This will, in many cases, eliminate the need to remove the MAS from the wheelchair in order to clear doorways or other obstacles. A slide attachment with a down or up stop has been added to simplify balancing especially with use of the JAECO/Rancho Mount (JRMT-1).Two sizes cover children through adult, universal left or right.

Rip off. . .

Bought this for nephew who was nearly killed in a rollover car accident. He was using one with good results at his PT session. The price was very expensive, but I figured it was worth it to help my young nephew on his long road to recovery. I was shocked when it arrived without any way to attach it to his wheelchair, and with nothing on the end where his damaged hand needed something to help him do various PT tasks. I assumed that Amazon had shipped only the middle arm part by accident, so I contacted them and they said they would send another one the next day, which they did. When it arrived, it was only the arm unit again. At that time, the description on the site described it as the complete unit and pictured it the same way. Unfortunate,y, the arm is useless without a way to attach it to something, and with nothing on the end of the arm, it is useless. So unless you already own one of the complete units and just need to replace the arm unit for some reason, this is a useless hunk of finely crafted metal (modern art maybe ). I now see that Amazon has changed the description to let you know that all you are getting for your four hundred dollars is the arm. Wish I had known that before I wasted my money and time with this. Fortunately, the physical therapist was willing to order a whole unit for me and I gave up on Amazon. Buyer beware!
