Simple care can ensure this heirloom, handcrafted block is a favorite in your kitchen for years to come. Beautiful! Great price!
I am blown away by the beauty of this piece! Got it for hubby who lives to bbq. He was a bit put off by the cost but i told him it was literally half the price of anything else i could find. I said it may not be huge or the best but i know you will enjoy it. When it arrived we were both absolutely in love! It is beautiful and solid! Taller than i thought nearly counter height. I ordered red legs because it was cheaper although i thought i would have preferred natural legs. I love love love the red! It is very matte and matches my kitchen carpet runners exactly! I could not love this thing more! It is plenty large and i can see it lasting for generations with proper care. I cant believe this work of art is so much cheaper than anything else i found. Thank you for making this accessable for those of us who are on really tight budgets.

It’s a Boos. Speaks for itself.
It’s a Boos. Does anyone ever give a Boos a bad review? I doubt it. Perfect size for my little kitchen. It was a couple inches shorter than the counter, which was a little awkward for me so I added some plastic felt covered feet to the bottom which raised it up another inch and now it’s perfect. Other than being awfully heavy and the neighbors probably laughing at me as I attempted to drag the thing into the house, I would never have a bad word to say about a Boos block. I had one in my old house, but it was so nice that the people who bought my house begged me to leave it there so we made a deal. It would’ve been too big for the little kitchen at my new house anyway. This one is just perfect for my space.

Beautiful, classy piece, also heavy
This is a beautiful, top-quality piece and definitely makes my kitchen look a couple steps up. If you like beautifully finished chunks of wood, this is for you. I'm not going to use it for cutting, I needed more counter space and this fits the bill perfectly. I left the knife holder off, the two pre-drilled holes for it are small and barely noticeable. I didn't pay attention to the weight when I ordered, and I had it delivered to work. Be aware everyone - it's about 140 lbs. in the package! I had to take the package apart in the garage, and the wood pieces are covered in light oil, but luckily I had brought a thick sheet. Even so it was a struggle for me to get it home, into my kitchen and to stand it up by myself. But looking at it now I'd say it's worth it! One other bit of advice for newbies - you'll need a mallet to easily hammer the legs into the top. You'll think the legs are too big to fit the holes after you put the (included) chips in to widen them, but they will fit.

Nice make no hardware
Block looks great but it came without the wedges for the legs and no screws for knife holder. Is that standard?

Good product, needed more cream than was in packet
Other than arriving a week late, tracking leads me to believe it arrived in Pensacola three times and road in truck for a week. Few areas on sides have a different color than rest. Have put several applications of the board cream and tried the mystery oil after using surface. The small packet that came with block did not have enough board cream to do all surfaces, so glad I bought the tube and bottle.

To Short
Love the look. My son thought it was great. BUT, you need to figure how to accommodate others that are not 5'9" tall. We are all over 6' so I have to have a base made to raise it 4 inches. Without being top heavy. Yea that sucks. But I will give it a shot.

Best Butcher Block
I love I can chop all my veggies on it no more cutting boards. I have also easily moved against my stove so I don’t drop as I transfer the veggies in the pot. I love the knife holder too. It’s letting my knifes from getting chipped and scratched in the drawers
