The Sand Perch from Insight by JW is designed specifically to help keep mess inside the cage. This perch is wider at the base and then gradually gets more slender as it extends into the cage. Measure your cage bars

I assumed that it would fit my birdcage but it wouldn't, my cage bars are too wide. I do think that it would work wonderfully with the right cage.

A good addition to birdcage

Really like this perch because it's sturdy and easy to place wherever needed in the cage. Birds are comfortable with it. I plan to purchase another.

Good Product

I'm sure it's a good product, unfortunately I couldn't put it to good use because my canary is easily spooked and was too afraid of it in his cage ????

Birds Love This

We purchased this for our two parakeets. They normally take anwhile to use anything new we add to the cage. They jumped on this the same day. We will defonately be purchasing more if these in the future for them. Sturdiness: Great Install: Easy Easy to clean. Happy with the purchase.

smells like mothballs

It has a penetrating smell of naphthalene. I tried waiting for it to go away and tried washing it off, but after a few months it ended in up in the bin as I didn't want to subject my birds to toxic chemicals.

Awesome perches

These perches are by far my favorite, even compared to the natural branches. They clean up quite easily, and the birds love them - sturdy, they stay in place when fixed to the cage, and the birds like to rub their beaks on them to clean them.

My budgie likes it

Affordable as an add-on item. Wish we could choose the colour. I received the baby blue perch, which is fine. The regular-size perch is fine for my budgie, but the bulkier section in the middle is too big for canaries and finches. These perches, which I previously bought, don't last very long because the sand coating detaches, particularly when cleaning it.

You get what you pay for

I bought this thinking it would help with my birds nails. Problem is, I can't even attach it to the cage because the threads are stripped and it just keeps spinning and doesn't get tight. The sand also falls off easily. Maybe it was just defective?

Material dudoso.

No me gustó el material con el que están fabricadas, además de que no se mira como arena, se ve muy artificial y se desprende con tan sólo manipularla. No sé si sea un material adecuado para las aves. Decidí retirarlas de la jaula. Los colores son bonitos y el tamaño adecuado, pero por el material con el que están fabricadas, no la recomiendo.
