Parts dont marry up!!

Its a good setup for sloped fans. EXCEPT!!!! The holes in the ceiling flange DO NOT line up with the holes in the mounting bracket!! Both pieces come in the kit. I had to bore the flange holes so that it would fit over the studs that get screwed into mounting bracket. Then I had to buy some stainless steel washer/flanges so the thumb screws would tighten down and not go through the holes I had to bore in flange. Maybe someone at the manufacturer needs to take a refresher course in simple measurements!!!!
