Not waterproof

This is a great remote control car for a young kid, as long as they don’t take it in water. Maybe puddles would be okay. My son tried to take it in the tub and it stopped working because water got in the battery compartment. Once it dried out and got new batteries, it worked again just fine.

Turn off twitch every use .

Super cute! Floating in water ,Turn,reverses. I live in the desert Havasu lake going over gravel ,rocks ,going the water semi down hills helps climb over bigger rocks and cemet edge really kool toy for the price .Got one for my Nephew thats 3 .Going get another for my daughter who two.real easy remote ,light weight .i give it a 8 .Shell Ya!! I added hot glue /(High temp ) dots in middle line for little more traction. Reminder turn switch off from back every use ,keep battery life . Used commerial or high grade batteries Add on reusable batteries with charger for AA batteries .

Fun but difficult set up

The toy was fun to use. However, packaging did not indicate how long it would take to prepare for play. The battery compartments were very difficult to open and it required 5 batteries...3 AA and 2 AA. Not clear on packaging what was needed. Also special screwdriver to open the compartments

Perfect for wet weather

My 5 yr old grandson lives in Seattle and he loves driving it through puddles and in the mud. His favorite of all the birthday gifts he got.

My grandsons love these. We also got the crocodile version. Note: the Snake apparently operates on the same frequency as several others. Hearthsong notes this conflict...so some research might be needed. Also...the remote must be turned on first before the vehicle...and this may be given somewhere in instructions that we didn't bother to read. But otherwise we are very pleased with the toy!
