Just a standard Chinese thermometer

Not anything to write home about. It's OK. The scale is not all that accurate, meaning that the markings are kind of far apart (10 degrees) and the needle is about 5 degrees wide. So if a plus or minus 8-10 degree range is enough this will work. But for the price I expected better. Has a fairly long stem and a decent clip on it.

It seems to work but can't be sure about the temperature accuracy. At least in fits in the pan but have to remove it of course, to remove the screen.

Works well for shorter fry pots. Also have an older 12" model for deeper fry pots.

This has turned out to be a nice thermometer. I use to keep track of the oil temperature for my old fry daddy and leave it in after use to let me know when oil has cooled down.

Accurate, fast acting

This thermometer is accurate, and is quick to show what the temperature is. The red "danger zone" is helpful as well. Very pleased with this deep fry thermometer.

Product worked fine until hot oil from deep fryer popped onto plastic face, melting a hole in it. This ruined thermometer as water, oil, etc can get inside unit. Should have a glass face instead of plastic.
