Kingston faucet KB951 great price and just good quality

The faucet was delivered as described. Using the Kingston KB951 model because Moen discontinued their 4500 series faucets. This item most closely matched the Moen design. While a good price, the item does not match Moen or Kohler in quality or ease of installation. The instructions are well written but the actual parts are only of good quality and requires more than typical attention during installation. The drain pivot rod design is terrible and did not work with my Kohler Caxton rectangle sink, so had to buy more parts at local plumbing store to allow the drain to work. So this is not a ‘turnkey’ product and will require more components than Teflon tape and Silicone sealant. It did go with the Moen faucets adjacent to the sinks. Sizing or mass of faucets is different but not obvious. Amazon shipped two different boxes (one was nicely decorated with photos and the other was a plain brown box) with two different manufacturing dates over a year apart. Opened both and they were luckily similar. The instructions state not to over tighten and the units are a bit softer than Moen or Kohler items that I have worked with, so be aware to use tools that do not generate too much torque.

Abolutely Gorgeous

I was little nervous ordering this faucet set for my newly renovated 1/2 bath given several negative reviews. I really didn't want to pay several hundred dollars for a faucet so I took the chance. Since I couldn't fathom replacing towel bars and other bath accessories, not to mention every hinge and door knob on the first floor, I went with the bright brass. I couldn't be happier. I have installed far more expensive faucets that do not seem nearly as well made. Beautifully crafted in solid brass, all the fittings fit together beautifully. Some reviews mention missing parts...I can only assume that these people think that the water supply lines are supposed to come with a faucet set. Everything needed (other than the water leads) was included and beautifully packaged. My set included extra washers, spacers, and even brass compression nuts to connect the water supply lines. I would be happy with this set, and writing an equally positive review even if I had paid 2 or 3 times more for it.

Nice looking faucet

Nice looking faucet. Works good had some problem installing the flexible hose underneath got bent to such a degree hardly any cold water came through because of the cramped space under the sink. Had to redo the install. Works now thanks to a very skilled friend.

Good looking

I had these faucets. With the new counter tops I wanted the same kind. It was very hard for my plumber to install even with the manual and he is very experienced person. It took him five hours for two days. The valve was leaking and he had to go to Home Depot to get different valve sealer to fix it. It makes very loud hissing and shrill noise when turned on. Not as quiet as my previous on. But it's been installed after much hassle so can't return them.

perfect!

I gutted and completely renovated our master bathroom with travertine tile, and we selected oil rubbed bronze for the finish on all of the hardware. This matched the rest of the hardware perfectly, and it was easy to install since I did it prior to mounting the granite countertop onto the vanity. One of the parts loosened up & leaked a week after installing it all, which was a pain to tighten since I had to crawl under the vanity like a circus contortionist, but it was easy to take care of. I couldn't find a better price anywhere else. (and I scoured the online prices and suppliers!) This faucet works great and looks even better!!!

economy replacement

hired a plumber to install these faucets, they work well, but you need to be careful when shutting valves off to ensure you dont push to hard. Not top of the line, but good value for the money.
