Love it!

Great tank for my betta! I did not use the filter it came with since the other reviews said it was too powerful and noisy. For beginners, make sure you buy a heater for your betta as well, it is very important! Otherwise, great size, sturdy, and packaged amazingly!

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced!

If it weren’t for this company’s service I would give it 4 stars (still great in my opinion though). Easy set up, quiet and perfect size. I added a heater and an addition under gravel filter to make cleaning less frequent, and my fish are very happy. I currently have a female beta, a lyre Molly, a fancy guppy and 3 neon tetras. I had an issue with the filter after a couple months and then the light after a few more months. I emailed their support, was responded to within a day, and sent replacement parts at no cost within a week. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand. I wish more companies were this easy to work with!

A Koller Champion

I've had 1-1/2 gal and 3 gal Kollers over the the years. They were good enough for the price, but did not perform above satisfactory. Both models developed cracks and scratched easily. This one is way beyond better. The lid fit tight (unlike the previous) and the pump doesn't play at filtering. It FILTERS. I don't have to change the filter for 2 weeks, and it could probably be stretched a little longer, to keep the water clear and clean. The filter pump does have a stronger current than some of the smaller Koller and Tetras that may be a little challenging to very small bettas. My betta is medium-sized and has no problem. The light is just super. Another piece that fits well! No dangling antennae apparatus to use a remote control. Just a touch of a button on the lid-top offers an assortment of colors and lighting variations. I've gotten so many compliments, my betta seems to love this one, and I'm impressed with the quality of this model.

Good tank for the money

Brought as a gift for my younger sister. Seems to be an issue with the light where if you turn it off and on too many times, the light will just stay off. The fliter also gets very noisey if the cartridge starts to have build up.

pretty good

love everything but i have to say the filter is really strong, the filter is too powerful and my betta won’t stay at the top for very long without getting pushed around. for now i’m keeping the filter off until i get something to make the flow more peaceful. other than that it’s spacious and i like the light options as well as the lid.

Great Fish Tank!

This is a great tank for our growing fish and the perfect size! Very little noise and pump seems to keep the tank clean. Definitely recommend!

Filter and Lighting

Filter is to powerful for the size of tank. Also, light will not work off a timer as I am away a lot and used to have my old tank connected so it would go on and off on its own. Must push the switch 5 to 6 times to get to the light setting I like and then push and hold for three seconds 4 more times to get to the 8 hour light setting. Should be made to work off a timer without having to reset everything each time.

For the most part it's a great tank.

Great tank, I purchased 2 years ago. Half the lights are burned out now. What now? Whole new tank? Anyone? It's nothing without the lights!

Nice tank. Perfect size for one large decoration and two plants and 3 small fish. Does scratch easily. Filter is very strong (wouldnt work for a betta unless altered). Comes with various chemicals which were expired. Price seems to fluctuate on Amazon. I bought for under 50 and the next day it was listed for 100+
