Looks Nice!
But I never could get it to stop leaking, i followed directions exactly, I think it was the thin gasket they supply with it that was leaking, I was going to use Silicone caulk instead but if it still leaked I probably wouldn't be able to return it, so I just returned it and bought something else and it works fine...no leaks! Returns with Amazon are usually super easy! Product showed up on time as promised, no complaints there.

Expensive, but worth it!
Had to replace plastic drains that came with a faucet set I ordered on Amazon (see @homeswithma) - these steel ones from Lowe’s and Amazon were perfect!

Finish is wearing off matte black
Less than a year installed and the finish is starting to come off. :( everything else works. Bought matte black for two sinks.

Poor quality. Does not last.
Ordered 2 of these and one the paint chipped off and the other one gets stuck in the closed position.

Garbage! In the trash they go!
My plumber installed these and couldn't get them to stop leaking. He said he had the same problem with Kraus pop-ups on another job. He just went off to Home Depot to buy Kohler ones. Shame on you, Kraus! I'm not the only reviewer with this problem.

Great Looks & Material Quality - Poor Engineering & Leaked Like A Sieve
Ordered the matte black Kraus pop up to replace a cheap plastic Moen tailpiece for my new vanity. I have other Kraus products and have been please with the quality. This pop up is all metal and of high quality fit and finish. However it leaked like a sieve from both the inside and outside of the sink. The silicone gasket for the inside of the sink allowed water to pass into the overflow chamber. It might work OK for a metal sink with a flat opening but it did not on a porcelain one. I reinstalled it with plumbers putty and it now works fine. The underside leaked from the coarse threads and copious amounts of Teflon tape under the large nut seemed to cure that leak. The reason for the low rating is that a customer shouldn't have to reengineer a product's installation, especially on a premium priced item. FURTHER UPDATE: I returned the item as even with Teflon tape, water continued to leak from the course threads.
