Good; too easy
This is a great toy, but too simplistic. It's impossible to teach numbers vs colours, for example, because they both completely align. It would be better to avoid them matching, so you can assess how your child is using the toy. They are well made, but don't just hand the bucket over, as many of the parts come in little plastic bags which are a hazard to a young child. The squirrels are sweet looking, and I think younger children (12-18 months) will get more use out of this.

A fun way to teach color and numbers
I got these Snap and Learn squirrels for my 16 month old. I knocked it out of the park with this toy since all three of my kids love it (4 years old, 2.5 years old, 16 months). My 4 year old likes to use the squirrels for imaginative play. My 2.5 year old likes to sort them into their proper acorns. My 16 month old likes opening and closing the acorns. She shrieks when she sees the squirrel inside. You get 5 acorns and 5 squirrels. They are each a different color and numbered. The squirrels go inside the acorn that corresponds with the color and number. Of course you can mix and match and have lots of fun with these squirrels. I've purchased other Learning Resources toys in the past and have always been happy. Just like my previous purchases I'm very happy with this toy from Learning Resources.

Entertaining
My kids love these, but honestly as a parent I really kind of found a certain purpose besides me having to pick these up all the time but it’s a great way to help them learn colors sizes they make it easy gift when sending a child a birthday present my kids really do have a great time with it and honestly I’ll still give it five stars only because I’m super picky so it’s not necessarily the products fault very sturdy, well-made, attractable, and from what I seen children love it

Fun way to introduce colors and numbers
These are a nice little set of squirrels. They are a great way to introduce the idea of matching colors and numbers. I love how the little squirrels fit inside their nuts with the little lids on them. Also, it is great it comes with a bin that holds them all. It is fantastic that they all fit in the bin even if they aren't all stacked perfectly together. Bright and Cheery
Learning Resources Snap-n-Learn Surprise Squirrels are exactly as described and cute as they can be! Each squirrel hides in an acorn complete with an acorn cap. The concepts taught are colors, numbers, shapes, and fine motor skills as the child matches the base, squirrel, and cap. The squirrels have a hole in the bottom so they are finger puppets as well. All 15 pieces fit securely inside the sturdy container which is plenty big so you're not trying to wedge everything inside. All pieces are very well made, sturdy, and very attractive to look at and this set will keep little ones occupied for a long time. I highly recommend this playset.

Perfect for our one year old.
Our one year old is at the phase where she's obsessed with "taking things out and putting them back in" over and over and this has been perfect for her. She's also learning her colors, so she's able to start matching them. Definitely not ready for the numbers yet, but she'll get there. The quality is great and they're very durable. We're confident they'll last much longer than she'll want to use them. Overall, great toddler toys and we're thrilled with them! Definitely recommended!

So cute!
This learning resource toy is so cute! It's sturdy, nice quality just like all their other toys. It comes with 5 acorns with lids and 5 squirrels. It's great for teaching colors and then moving on to numbers! It's super easy for a toddler to remove the lid and put it back on. My toddler loves hiding in he squirrel in the acorn and finding them. This is definitely a toy my toddler can use for a few years on!

my twins are obsessed
My 1 year old twins love this. They play with it all the time. It keeps them entertained. Its easy to wipe clean and disinfect. It isn’t easily broken and can with stand rough play. Recommend.

keine genaue Materialangabe
An sich ist das ein nettes Spielzeug für Kinder, die wie mein Enkel (14 Monate) gerne ein- und auspacken. Was mich stört: als Material wird lapidar "Kunststoff" angegeben- nirgends ein Hinweis, ob BPA-frei oder "ungiftig". Allerdings waren alle Teile absolut geruchsfrei und bei dem vom Hersteller angeratenen Abwaschen vor dem ersten Gebrauch hat nichts abgefärbt. Den Leck- und Beißtest von Omi haben sie auch kritiklos überstanden. Trotzdem bleibt eine gewisse Unsicherheit. Ob man allerdings einem Kind mit 18 Monaten anhand dieses Spiels Zahlen näher bringen kann, wage ich zu bezweifeln, da Eichhörnchen, Deckel und Korpus ja die gleiche Farbe aufweisen. Die Idee mit den unterschiedlichen Symbolen um die gedruckte Zahl ist zwar nett, aber in meinen Augen sinnlos. Der Zwerg muss sich nur die Farben merken und das kriegt mein Enkel auch mit seinen 14 Monaten schon hin (er ist ja nicht farbenblind). Für gedruckte Zahlen ist er auch mit 18 Monaten noch zu klein. Bei meinem großen Enkel (3 1/2) macht das schon eher Sinn. Der kann zwar astrein bis 30 zählen, aber wie die gedruckte Zahl aussieht, das ist schon schwerer. Innen im Deckel sind je nach Zahl kleine Sternchen aufgedruckt- die kann er abzählen und wenn er sich die dazu passende Zahl anschaut, dürfte schon ein gewisser Lerneffekt da sein. Da weder in der Amazon-Produktbeschreibung, noch auf der Dose oder den vielen Plastiktüten, in die die Teile einzeln verpackt waren genaue Materialangaben stehen, kann ich dem Spiel leider nur drei Sterne geben.

Gute Idee, aber Verarbeitung nicht überzeugend
Ich durfte das Set "LER6723 Snap-n-Learn Eichhörnchen-Überraschung, Lernspielzeug für Kleinkinder, 15 Teile, ab 18 Monaten" von 'Learning Resources' testen: Das Spielset wird in einem passenden Aufbewahrungsbox mit Schraubdeckel und Henkel geliefert. Die Spielidee an zur Förderung der Feinmotorik sowie des Farben-, Formen- und Zahlenverständnis finde ich gut. Mit ein bisschen Kreativität bieten sich mehrere Spielmöglichkeiten. Auch die Gestaltung mit den Eichhörnchen und den Eicheln ist eine süße Idee. Die Verarbeitung des Sets kann mich leider nicht ganz überzeugen: Die Figuren sind nicht ganz geruchsneutral. Beim Auspacken habe ich an einem der Deckelchen bereits ein kleines loses Plastikteil gefunden...(siehe Bilder) Auch der Deckel der Aufbewahrungsbox war bereits verkratzt. Außerdem waren auf zwei der fünf Becher und einem Eichhörnchen schwarze Flecken. (Produktionsrückstände? Mit heißem Wasser und Spülmittel konnte man sie entfernen) Es findet sich auf der Box auch der Hinweis, das Spielzeug vor der ersten Anwendung zu reinigen. Außerdem findet sich keine Angabe zum verwendeten Material (BPA-frei?) auf der Packung, das finde ich für Kleinkinder-Spielzeug eigentlich sehr wichtig,da oft noch viel in den Mund gesteckt wird. In Summe gebe ich daher 3 Punkte.

völlige Begeisterung beim Kind
Das Produkt kam gut verpackt und schnell hier an. Unser Kind begeistert sich aktuell total fürs sortieren, somit kam dieses Set sehr gelegen. Ich muss sagen, viel davon erhofft hatte ich mir nicht....aber ich bin positiv überrascht!!! Die Verarbeitung ist sehr solide, robuste Elemente, farbenfroh, klar erkennbare Formen etc. In jede Eichel (oder Nuss) passt ein Eichhörnchen....verschiedene Varianten sind möglich...entweder man sortiert komplett nach Farben, je Farbe 3 Teile (Deckel, Becher und Eichhörnchen)....oder man versucht erstmal nur das jedes Eichhörnchen eine Eichel besetzt...weitere Steigerung den Deckel aufzudrücken etc. Die Eichhörnchen können auch als Fingerpuppen auf die Finger gesteckt werden (zumindest passt dies bei uns ganz gut). Unser Kind ist von den niedlichen Tierchen und dieser Spielidee absolut begeistert und beschäftigt sich selbstständig eine ganze Weile damit. Ebenso Anklang hat findet sich Aufbewahrungsbox in Form einer kleinen Tonne mit drehbarem Deckel, auch diese bietet eine super Möglichkeit die motorischen Fähigkeiten zu schulen. Von uns bekommt das Set eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Niedliche Eichhörnchen als Lernspielzeug
Zunächst gefällt mir der tragbare Aufbewahrungseimer gut, denn das Kind kann den Eimer am integrierten Griff gut tragen und man kann auch andere Sachen einfüllen und sortieren. Auch die Idee der Eichhörnchen, die sich in den Eicheln verstecken, finde ich prima, denn Kinder lieben erstens die farbliche Zuordnung, aber auch das Verstecken. Daneben kann man die Eichhörnchen auch als Fingerpuppen verwenden. Sowohl auf dem Eichhörnchen als auch auf dem Unterteil der Eichel ist eine Zahl von 1 bis 5 abgebildet, aber damit sind die Kleinen doch überfordert, denn sie können noch keine Zahlen schreiben oder die Form der Zahlen zuordnen. Dafür müssen sie schon etwas älter sein, ca. 2,5 Jahre würde ich sagen. Dann könnte man jedoch die Zahlen schon auf 10 erweitern. Kurz gesagt, die Zahlen-Lernfunktion sehe ich nicht für die Kleinen, wohl aber den anderen Spielspaß.

Zahlen 1 bis 5 lernen
Das ist ein einfaches Spiel, um die Farben und Zahlen 1 bis 5 zu lernen. Das Spiel besteht aus 15 Einzelteilen. Jede Farbe gehört zu einer Zahl und hat 3 Teile. Eine Nuss, eine Eichhörnchenfigur und einen Deckel zur Nuss. Die Teile sind schön bunt und einzeln nummeriert. Es gibt keine scharfen Kanten.Untergebracht ist alles in einem durchsichtigen Plastikgefäß mit Schraubdeckel. Zum Lernen ist das Spiel recht nett. Aber wenn das Kind einmal den Mechanismus raus hat, dann wird es langweilig. Für sich alleine ist es kein Spiel, dass man auf Jahre spielen kann. Für kurze Zeit und zum Lernen ist es eine willkommene Abwechslung. Deshalb 4 Sterne für ein Lernen der Zahlen 1 bis 5 und der dazugehörenden Zahlen.
