Dragon Stone, also known as Ohko Stone, is a popular aquascaping rock named after it's scale like texture. The natural details and crevices gives your aquascape an aged look that can't be duplicated with artificial decorations. Dragon stone can come with a wide array of colors, ranging for reds, yellows, and browns. The clay-like composition of this type of stone makes it brittle compared to other rocks, allowing larger rocks to easily be broken down with chisel and hammer. Very Pleased!

I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm very pleased with the stones I received! Great variety of decent sized pieces, and an awesome value for what you get. I did get a bonus small spider hiding in a crevice that I wasn't quite as pleased about, but nature's going to nature. You can't stop that.

Quality Pieces

When you buy something like unseen rock, you seldom get better than expected. These pieces are absolutely stunning. There is not chips and junk, these individually wrapped rocks have a lot of character. A quick inspection shows rocks in the 4 to 8 inch range. I am more than pleased. I will order some more now.

Aquascaping a 225 gallon tank for cichlids

Found some inspirational photo’s of some Asian themed Aquascapes for fish aquarium ideas. Rolling with the punches. I don’t think one box will do it for me. I’ll need a few more to fill a 225 gallon tank. The rock is beautiful and will need cleaning up before putting in your systems.

Looks absolutely beautiful

I was hesitant to buy these because of all the reviews of the rocks containing a unending amount of red clay but I am really glad I got them. Mine had absolutely zero clay in them. Like I didn't even see any in the little nooks and holes. There was some red dust on them but I was able to place the rocks in my aquarium without rinsing at all. Maybe I got lucky as others have had problems with dirty rocks ymmv.

One giant block of rock

A few small rocks are decent but about half of the 22 lb box was a singe un-shaped almost rectangular block that I'll need to break up myself. Honestly seems like somebody in the packing department got lazy and didn't feel like packing individual pieces.

Weight

Short 10 pounds and calling Life guard aquatics was no help. They suggest I return it to Amazon, I just wanted another 10 pounds. Go directly to SR Aquaristik or Home depot they both have better prices on aquarium rocks.
