Its fittings are larger then 18 inch rollers
I bought this product times two and its suggested rollers knowing the plastic inserts could be too small or too large! The rollers that they recommend didn't come with the fittings for this item and were the worst rollers ever!

Crap!!
This is a ridiculas design for a paint roller frame. The end caps are included, that's great, but why...WHY would you make them with 3 pieces? The round disc end pieces and then for each end 2 'tiny' little pieces to attach it to the frame. these pieces are a (for what reason) tiny sleeve/insert which goes into the round disc roller end plug, and then there is a Tiny little metal...?rod/insert which goes thru the vertical arm at the ends and slips into the insert which was inserted into the roller end plug disc, and it's only 1/2in. long with a slight rim head on the outside end to keep it from going thru the frame arm. this is a rediculas contraption that can't possiblly work. These 6 parts(both ends)and the roller are held in place by tension on the adjustable arms. When rolling on painting surface with 'ANY' pressure the arms spread just slightly releasing the silly little rods/pins and plastic sleeves and the roller falls/rolls right out of the frame. This happens within every 2to4 strokes of the roller. If this discription and explaination is hard to follow and or picture, well it was just as hard to believe it when I was trying to use it. Mine came in a kit with paint pan and allready put together with a roller in it. Upon inspection I discovered the ABSOLUTE idiot design of this thing."BE WARNNED" This is a piece of crap! ~S.C.
