Fun set, but bluetooth is obnoxious

I had grown up with a train around the Christmas tree and was finally ready to invest in my own. Being big Disney fans this option from Lionel seemed the logical choice. Overall I'm very happy with the set, but the Bluetooth implementation is obnoxious. If the train track is plugged into the wall, but there is no remote turned on or smartphone connected it will perpetually chirp every few seconds to let you know pairing mode. There's no way to turn this off that I can find, so the result is you have to unplug the train from the wall whenever you're not using it or it will keep chirping forever.

The media could not be loaded. there's only two of the original setup the train and the commission the rest you may recognize as the polar Express this is my set ohh I hate the little Mickey Mouse voice and then jingle bells as a valve That sucks it doesn't I can't get it this month like pictures when I first bought it

Overall Great Train.

The media could not be loaded. I pretty much said everything in my video but it's a long video. I hope it helps you. Overall it's a great train but it is loud when you're running it at High speed, so just run it slower. The speaker has good sound quality. I would recommend it

Fun addition to Christmas tree

I grew up with a train under the Christmas tree. My kids are finally of the age where I expect my kids not to break my train. We received the train while I was out of town. My kids were able to put it together without my help. My kids loved playing with it. They insisted it be on during Christmas morning. The train feels heavy and is of good quality. One son absolutely loved the smoke but the smoke that came with it caused him headaches. I bought another type of smoke that smells like cookies and that was approved by everyone. I wish they would change the smoke that comes with it. I recommend buying the cookie smoke if you buy this train set.

Overpriced toy with no customer support

The train itself is nice, work well but the app is a trash. It is impossible to commect the train which means you can't use all the features you paid for. They know thair app doesn't work, they said it in a reply to my complaint in December 2021. Two months later they even didn't reply and the app still doesn't work (December 2022). Their toys are pretty expensive (made in China) and for that price, they should do anything to satisfy their customers. No, they don't care. Shame on you Lionel. 2nd edit 12/22: it is few days over one year since the purchase. The train sounds just started to fail. I realy believed Lionel does better quality.
