Darn near perfect!
I got the complete kit for under a $100 buck including the absolutely necessary release clips (which some say you pay extra for). The box looked like it was previously opened and was a bit banged up, but thankfully due to good packaging, all was fine. There are plenty of how-to videos and I had watched several... It was a little nerve wracking (for me). I kept thinking, what if I break the frame of the old unit and can't get the new window in, then I have a big hole in the entrance door!!! You just have to be patient and work those clips a little at a time. Quickly you'll know if the clamp releases (the clip pushes in pretty easily and you'll hear a distinct pop!). If you have to force the clip in, no good. Just pull it out and try again (and again). A few clips bent and deformed (they are plastic) so once you start pulling the old frame away, pull a clip from a released area and swap out a deformed one. You'll also need a thin flexible putty knife to break the adhesive seal in order to remove the old frame. Overall, I did the job in under an hour including time to find adhesive remover (Goof Off) to clear the opening perimeter before putting the new window in. 5 stars for the product, the look and functionality. What a transformation on my Jayco Micro Feather 171RB. I only have a teeny, tiny window over the sink at campside, and now, what a difference! I should have done this immediately after getting the unit. I no longer feel like campside is a dead end tunnel. Outstanding in every way. I can't comment on the weather tightness for rain, but I think it will just be fine.

Great technical support!
We purchased a used Grand Design Imagine and after a couple of short trips we realized that we needed to do 'something' about the frosted door window. We preferred more privacy than the frosted window provided. A call to Grand Design identified the correct window shade kit which we promptly ordered on Amazon. Before swapping out the existing window and frame, I reviewed a number of YouTube videos. I saw how the process worked and what mistakes to avoid. The window swap went quickly ... le@ than an hour. Upon final inspection of my work, I noticed a small cosmetic issue with the aluminum shade pull piece. A photo, along with some additional details on the RV was sent to Grand Design tech support. They promptly sent me a replacement Thin Shade. The product looks and works great! That's what I like about GD. You get a good product, and great service without a runaround.

Easy Installation
The reason I gave an overall rating of 4 is not because of the product itself but because of the instructions. They were confusing to me. Also there were no clear instructions on how to remove the old window. Looked up some YouTube videos and realized the included tabs were for the removal of the old window. Once I realized that the removal of the old window was easy even though I broke a couple of the tabs. As I said the instructions on the installation were confusing, specifically how to install the blinds. I ignored the instructions and realized how the blinds were secured and put everything in with no issues.

Great Upgrade
Our new to us travel trailer came with 'reflectix' covering the door window. There are times when you want/need to look through that window and there are times when you don't want people seeing in or light coming through. This seemed like a good solution. And it is! The only very minor drawback is that the solid door and screen door need to be separated to raise or lower the blind. Not a big deal. And a nice installation tip is to install it upside-down so the blind comes up from the bottom so passersby can't see in, but light can still come in through the top.

Lack of support from the manufacturer
The installation instructions were either incomplete or do not provide enough information. I am a pretty good mechanic but still had to watch a you tube video because of the lack of information included in the pkg. After the video it was a breeze. Lippert should make the outer trim and seal about a 1/4" wider and taller because the tolerances are to tight for the opening provided on the door. My Jayco has 2 doors, 1 for the main entry & 1 for the bedroom. The bedroom window fit perfectly but the opening from the factory was cut to large on the main entry door making it impoosible to seal. After removal of the original window I now know why it has always leaked. The previous owner tried to seal it with silicone but it it failed. Otherwise the new windows are a great improvement as far looks and the shades are really nice.

Great product
Easy install. Two people a must. Watch YouTube video first. 4 star because screen is hard to adjust.

Works well. Easy install. Perfect fit.
No problem installing. No instructions, but I put it on the same way I took the other one off. I had some kind of “spacers” but no instructions so I didn’t use them. The only issue I have is the shade is kind of tricky to pull up and down. It works great and I can finally see out my window and pull the shade when the sun hits that side of the rv. Great product. Fast shipping. Would buy again.

Window dressing
The Sun shade and privacy screen for our Lippert door is very nice. It is quite snug but it will finally give us the privacy we needed.

Works great. Poor installation manual. Use YouTube.
Just installed this watching a you tube video as the instructions are poor. Window looks great! Clips vs screws but holds up well.

Direct fit replacement for many LCI entry door windows.
This Thin Shade Kit includes a nice, dark-tinted window glass and a manual blackout shade in a two-piece snap-together frame. It's a great way to ensure privacy, particularly at night when the trailer is lit from within, while still having a see-through (i.e. not frosted) window in your door. If your RV/trailer's entry door is made by LCI (many are - Lippert supplies components for numerous RV makers), this is likely a direct-fit replacement for your existing window. Don't worry if your existing door window is held together with screws, this is still correct if the dimensions match the product description. Installation is relatively straight-forward, but easiest with two people so one can stabilize and line-up the glass while the other assembles the two frame halves in the door. Looks great once installed, particularly if your other windows are already tinted, as ours are.

Easy installation.
My husband procrastinated for several months before installing this item because he wasn't sure how to take out the old window. After watching a YouTube video the 2 of us were able to remove the original window and install the new one in about 20 minutes

Love this window
This looks great. It needs 2 people to install for sure. Instructions suck but there is great video on the website. Took less than an hour to get in (make sure you have all the snaps are pressed all the way they can be) great addition!!!

Great replacement window
Fits perfectly in our 1920-191 R-Pod. Makes quite a difference, looks super, and the blind can be mounted, either sliding down or sliding up.
