Fits Rubbermaid Commercial Stock Tank 1-1/2 inch plug

The right tool for the job

Does the trick. Mine came in black instead of the blue shown, but the color doesn't matter to me. The difference between 4 and 5 stars is the price. It does seem like a fitting like this shouldn't cost 1/6th the price of an entire sump pump, but that's how the world works. In the end you buy what you need to get the job done.

Just add plumber's tape.

Make sure that you have plumber's tape! This adapter fits well into both my hose and the pump but, perhaps because it is plastic, it needs a couple good rounds of plumber's tape to make a tight seal.

wow. when you need one of these. not many people make them. i take off stars for price only. but they are handy for sump pumps to garbage hoses i like the tapered transition internally for flow. ps. its not blue like the picture, that would be cool. they are black. good quality though

Great for RV macerator pump outlet

Needed this to connect a RV dump tank macerator pump to convert 3/4" garden hose pump outlet to 1.25" pipe. The larger size pipe allows for up to 100 foot length of flexible hose to be added to the pump so it could reach the septic tank at our house.
