Under $10- sign me up!
I believe these run a smidge big, but i make them work. Got them on sale for less than $10, they have been great for this crappy winter weather this year. I wear thermals underneath and slow roast in the cold????

Five stars for the price you're paying.
I really enjoy these pants. Yes, they're on the cheaper side (Really? $30 for a pair of snow pants? When do you ever find this?), but I think they're pretty darn amazing for the price you're paying. That's not to say I really own enough snow clothes to make such a comparative judgment, but this is coming from someone who did snowboard with them in 20 F weather with only a pair of regular leggings underneath. And I wasn't cold, nor did I experience any discomfort of any snow in my pants. I think they fit extremely well, though the trek for the correct size was pretty difficult. I had originally purchased a Youth Large because judging from the size chart, I really am a 14-16 in girls' pants (I'm 5'2 and weigh about 105 lbs. I generally wear a 0-1 in teen clothes and generally do not fit women's clothing). But when I received it, the waist was 6 inches too large. Six whole inches? So I ordered a Youth Small, which wound up fitting quite literally perfectly, meaning I wouldn't be able to layer anything underneath. The length was a little shorter (more like what I'd wear for regular pants, not like what should layer over snow boots). I wound up (unfortunately) paying for one-day shipping for the Youth Medium after my dissatisfaction with the previous two sizes, and lo and behold, it fit like a charm. I have about 1-2 inches of slack around the waist for layering, but the waist IS adjustable, so that isn't too big of a deal. I do agree that the adjustable bands could be better designed, but they do their job, and despite the number of times I had fallen, the adjustment hadn't loosened despite being held only by velcro. I'm not too impressed by the reinforced knees or bum. I don't believe it made too much of a difference. I do feel more padding and reinforcement there (quite literally, there's just more product), but at the end of the day, it won't save you if you fall on a patch of ice. However, they are nice and lightweight, and I really appreciate that. I never felt restricted in movement or slowed down while snowboarding.

I got them and the fit was perfect - like how you'd want your jeans to fit
I'm not a junior but often shop in the junior section. And thought I'd have more luck with junior snow pants too. I'm 5'1" and 109lbs. After reading reviews I decided to order the Medium size. I got them and the fit was perfect - like how you'd want your jeans to fit. They were a little tight in the hips and if I unzipped the pockets they were perfect. The length hit right at the top of my foot and the quality of the pants looks great. But because I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable in these when I layered, I tried the next size up, a large. The large was WAY too big. It's like it jumped a size. The large drowns me and the medium fit kind of like a glove. I decided to keep the medium because the price was good, the quality was great and they looked really flattering for snow pants. But I'll probably only be able to wear yoga pants or thermals underneath -for sure not jeans.

Great quality, but I should have measured waist size better
The size was larger than I expected. My son wears a size 12-14 in boys pants usually. I went off the sizing chart provided (he is 61" tall and weighs 105lbs) and I ordered the size large which were too big in the waist. We used a belt and they worked just fine (length was good) but if I had time before our trip to return them and reorder I would have gotten a size medium for him instead.

Cute and sturdy but they run HUGE
Overall happy with them as they were a last minute rushed purchase. Very sturdy and warm (though not waterproof if your kids like to just sit in the snow and bury themselves in it). But heed the warnings - they run SO big! It was fine as we just rolled up the legs and stuffed them into a boot, but definitely size down!

Appeared nice but is fraying at the seams.
Originally I was very impressed with these snow pants and thought they were nicer for my child than any ski pants I've ever owned; however, today he wore them for the 3rd time sledding and I noticed this frayed area by the seam on the side of the knee. This should not happen after just 4-5 hours of wear. I am disappointed in the quality. Hopefully it just happens to be this pair and doesn't happen happen to other people.

Good quality, but hard to adjust the fit
Good quality, but hard to adjust the fit. The waist is very large; I ended up pulling the elastic from the left side all the way over to the right, threading through the belt loops, and sticking the velcro down on the velcro pad on the right, next to the other elastic. It was very awkward and asymmetrical, but at least my kid's jacket covered up the mess. They should consider the button and elastic waist-adjustment system that most kids' pants have these days rather than velcro. Otherwise, a great product. Kept my son dry through many falls in the snow!

Great but too big
Great pair of snow pants however, they were too big for my son.
