Great concept but motor is not durable

We bought this for our 100-lb adult disabled daughter who is unable to adjust her body in bed. The mattress portion is great and has been effective at preventing bed sores. However, the motor is noisy. Our first unit developed a horrible tapping sound within a month, which was covered under warranty and replaced. The second unit began a similar tapping sound within a couple months. We will be trying a different brand to see if we can find something more durable.

Great Pump/Mattress Combo

Shipping estimate was telling me it would arrive in at least 2 days. I received the package the very next day after placing my order. The brand I received was a Lumex pump and mattress, which is great because that is what I was looking for and I wasn't sure what brand I was getting with this order. I needed it ASAP for an elderly woman who is forced to be in bed at all times. So the speedy delivery was great. Overall this lumex pump is very well built, not loud, and it's adjustable. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has to be in bed for long periods of time.

works very well

My husband has ALS. He is unable to move and while in bed, bed sores are a given. Bought one of these when hospice was unable to get one when he needed it. Extremely well priced. It looks, feels and works like a much pricier model. In fact this is the same exact model that the local medical supply offers for sale and rent at much higher prices. No bed sores except for a spot on his left ear which the pad is unable to help with. Maybe need an alternating pressure pillow.

pleased with the product

I bought this since january for my grandma who had a fracture and has to be in bed for looong periods of time. We liked this pad and pump a lot, because it's avoiding her to start having skin ulcers. Besides, I asked in specialized medical stores and, compared to those stores, this one was pretty cheap.

Pressure Pump Alternating Pressure Pad

This is the second time I buy this product . It is wonderful , it will last for years and deliver was fast. A family member is tetraplegic and this is the best pad for not having sores. Love it.

As good as, or better than the more expensive brands

I loved the product, because it's easy to use, works very well and my overall impression is that it works as well as the more expensive alternating pressure overlays. The price is just right and the product too
