Functionally great, but the color isn't the same in real

Overall, I really like this towel set - they're soft (and stay that way), dry thoroughly between showers, and work well. I have washed them several times now in the machine with warm water and machine drying without any problems. The set would be 5 stars for me except for one problem: the color. I loved the teal color that was portrayed in the pictures, but the real towels are much darker, practically the shade of a forest green but more teal in color. The difference was so big, in fact, that I didn't even recognize them as the item I ordered when they arrived! I still use them a lot because they are functionally fine, I just wish the color was portrayed more accurately in the photos.

Very thin and darker teal color than pictured

These are the thinnest towels I’ve ever seen and the color is nothing like pictured. Very dark drab teal. I am keeping anyway as it’s too much of a pain to return. I will just keep in a closet for emergencies. Will now have to spend more money to buy another set of towels I can see and feel in person first. Not happy.

Very nice quality towels

These are a very nice quality towel. They do seem to dry quicker too. They are soft enough and have nice detail around the edges to make them very pretty. They are not super thick and fluffy, but they absorb much better and dry quicker than those types of towels. These will make a lovely addition to our guest bathroom. Those towels get washed and dried a lot and often just sit for a long time so I like that they are antimicrobial and won't allow anything to make them smell off.

Very Thin And Can't Wrap It Around My Top As Too Small

These are very pretty towels and I particularly like the jade-like color. It was nice to be able to order a set of 2 with a complete package of washcloths, hand towels and bath towels. I was a bit disappointed because these towels are very thin; though that may help with them being antimicrobial, I prefer a thicker more terry cloth towel. Once I launder these. I'll check in with the antimicrobial issue if I find these retain a smell. I'm familiar with towels that hold a smell (I use white vinegar in the rinse to deal with this) so I'll work with it a bit if needed and update the review if needed. I hope this gives you the information you need to make the choice that is right for you.

I like other Madison Park products better

These are coated with a product to make them less prone to being stinky but I don't like how they felt out of the bag. They are not nearly as soft and fluffy as other Madison Park towels we've ordered (some of those others they sell are some of the nicest I've ever used) so these were a bit disappointing. They are a little on the small size and while they are absorbent they are not luxurious. I think I would skip the teal if you were considering that color it's not the pretty pale teal in the photos it's a little on the bright and garish side in real life. At the current price of nearly 40 at the time I ordered them I would not reorder.

Light-weight, darker than pictured

If you live in a more humid climate, you may find it helpful to get these towels. These are very attractive, but are thinner than the bath towels I prefer--more like the thickness of dish towels than bath towels. This does mean they will dry faster. The anti-microbial features are nice, too. In humid climates, I have trouble getting towels to dry on time and not get mildew-y. These would help with both those problems. However, these are just not thick enough to meet my expections for bath towels. Also the teal color was significantly darker than it appeared in the Amazon listing. For both these reasons, I am rating these towels four stars rather than five, but you may find them perfect for your needs.

Nice color

Very nice bathroom towel set. I have a hard time finding this color teal and as you can see by my pictures, this towel set matches the accent color on my existing towel set perfectly! Now I can mix & match. Color aside, they actually dry you when you come out of the shower - and that's what matters (100% cotton). The set includes 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 face cloths (wash towels). They're soft and have a really nice pattern too. I'm happy with these and would recommend them.

Smell bad

Was claimed to be mold proof. After one year they had to be trashed. They weren’t great towels from the start.
