MagEyes is a lightweight magnifier made of black and gray colored plastic. It's cushioned headband fits comfortably around the forehead like a visor and is fully adjustable. Attached to the headband is an optical-quality acrylic magnifying lens. The lens can be directly in the line of vision and locked securely in position or moved up and out of the way when not needed. Can easily be worn with prescription glasses. This package contains one headband and two lenses: 1.6X and 2.0X.

Excellent Aid for Soldering
I wear 2.25x readers following cataract surgery. The lowest power lens in the Mag Eyes Magnifier, used in conjunction with the readers, is perfect for performing and inspecting fine electronics soldering. I'm really glad that I bought it!

Eventually the headband padding will come off...
But I don't miss it at all. I wear these a lot and for a lot of things. For that mouse print on cans and cross stitching mostly. They're very light weight. I have been known to flip them up and forget that I'm wearing them - much to my grandchildren's amusement. Why 4 stars? I'd like to give it 4.5 stars. Eventually, the headband padding will warm to your body temperature and will start to slide around. I finally removed the padding and then had a bear of a time removing the sticky off of the plastic band. I did win that war and I don't miss the padding at all. The velcro closure is a must. Do not buy the ones that don't circle your head completely.

Comfortable and great vision.
These are easy to use, comfortable and enlarge closeup work without the need to hold a magnifying glass. They don't distort what I am working on and also don't get in the way of pencils or tools. I have tried sheet magnifiers mounted on stands which distort and always get in the way of closeup work. I have also tried the offset magnifier stands with the same problem.

How Did I Ever Live Without IT?????
The best thing since sliced bread! I am at the age that I need aid seeing things close up. I originally purchased this for cross stitching and boy does it help! I like that it's light, most of the times I forget it's on my head when I am doing other things and push them up. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a magnifier that is hands-free!

Can't say enough!
Can't say enough good things about these magnifier 'eyes'. I do find wearing them with the band on top of my head (like a headband) makes them easier to use, instead of on the forhead as show on product packaging. I like them so much I tell everyone about them and have also ordered them in the other magnifier strength too. It's like getting my young eyesight back!

Fair--
Bought these to help me work on my cross-stitching. They are a marginal help, I find that the lens is small, and I have to keep my head still or they get out of focus. My neck gets stiff and tired when I do that for very long. Was not a good purchase for me.

Comfortable
MagEyes is pretty comfortable to wear. I've had no problems with that part, thus far. I should have ordered stronger lenses and have experienced eye strain. I am planning to order some stronger lenses to use soon.

Not just for jewelers, detailed crafters, and hand sewing
Handy for lots of up close needs. Best focus area is between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 inches from eye.
