Better than 875 Series

I previously had Master Lock 875 series padlock. The mechanism is scrolling code, unlock, relock, and scramble the code. If you scramble the code before relocking it, you'll have a high chance to reset the code. My employee reset it by accident and I had to cut the lock. It needs specific instruction to use it otherwise you will be resetting to unknown code. 175 LH worked very well with the resettable tool. It removed the problem I was having.

Just what I was looking for

I had one of those cable type locks. It was cut and things stolen. Talk about feeling violated. I looked and looked…. After trying many others I am Thankful that I found this one. The lock is not too long or too big to be used on a school type locker at my local Y. It’s imposing enough to not invite ‘a problem’. A great lock at a great price. Highly recommended.

Heavy Duty

It seems like a very well-built lock however, the Shock was a little bit longer than I needed It is very easy to change the combination but unfortunately you do need to use the included key I probably would not buy this model again because of that fact

Perfect gate lock.

Very easy to program and use. The weight and neck length make it very easy to use. The numbers move more deliberately to not overshoot so you get it right the first time around.

Great outdoor combo lock

Use it to lock my gate to the back yard. Setting the combo was easy and it seems very well made. We get a lot of extreme changes in weather where I live so time will tell how it holds up. However, so far so good.

6 of 7 Worked as expected

Ordered 7 for our dock gates. One of 7 did not set as it should have and is locked with no known combination. Will return one.

Good

This seems like a semi-heavy duty lock. It’s installed outdoors on a gate latch. It’s new so I can’t speak to performance in the elements. For now, it’s performing well.

difficult to turn the dials

Brilliant to lock however it can be difficult to turn the dials as they get stuck - even worse with wet hands.
