A smallish bag but It's just what I wanted. Well constructed.. Zippers are a bit stiff but silicone spray and use will fix lhat..Will buy from company again

After two years of searching, I've found a near perfect bag...

I have been in search of an EDC bag for over 2 years. I've purchased so many sling bags and back packs but all seem to be to big for EDC. I don't want to be carrying around a gigantic bag, it is not realistic. I have purchased bags from most every reputable brand name company and wasn't happy with their bags for one reason or another. Most are either are uncomfortable, too big or small. I purchased this bag at the beginning of the month and am very pleased with it thus far. For the size it has just enough available space. It has a nice solid handle for picking up or carrying the bag with one hand or a over the shoulder padded strap. This bag has easily accessible CCW and I can carry everything I need in this small to medium size bag. In my bag I carry in a Glock 43 with (2) magazines, pen, paper, 2 oLight Flashlights, Zero Tolerance knife, original Leatherman, medication, inhaler, diabetes kit, small iPhone/iPad battery backup, cables and my iPad mini. I have tried many bags that carry all the above and much more but they are too large or to uncomfortable to lug around all day. If you have carried an EDC bag for an extended periods of time then you know how important weight distribution and comfort is when choosing an EDC bag. I can not stress the importance of comfort because you won't carry a bag that isn't comfortable. This is the first bag that I have found to be comfortable, it just wraps around your body nicely and distributes the weight across your shoulder. I am only 5'6", so I imagine the LochSpyr might be a small EDC bag for a larger person. A larger person may want to go with the bigger brother Veldspar. My only complaint is the zippers, they are very difficult to move and don't seem to be getting any better with use. The bag is designed to pull down on the flaps to open up the compartment but I am concerned about the zipper if a serious situation every occurred and you needed to access your handgun quickly.

I like to board flights with the minimum I can carry

Purchased as a "man purse" for travel. I like to board flights with the minimum I can carry, which makes it easier to get on and off the plane. There is enough room for my pad, headphones, charging device and cables for my pad and phone. Have used on multiple airline trips, and it works great. Enough room to dump my pockets into, prior to going through security, so i dont have to fumble with items in the big trays. As with all the other Maxpedition products I've purchased, it's overbuilt and sturdy.

I like it a lot

This bag is really comfortable and balanced and the zippers flow around the corners perfectly, unlike the Remora, which I returned. Great looking bag, not too tactically. Holds a lot of stuff. Highly recommend it.

Zipper on rear cc pocket EXTREMELY stiff around the corners and difficult to close. Defeats purpose of security or quick access retrieval. All other pockets and features top notch.

Made for the Minimalist - Best Bag

This has to be the best EDC Sling Bag I have ever owned. This was made specifically for the MINIMALIST. This will carry you pistol, an 8" iPad, a few pens, keys, bill fold, and that's about it. Unless you want to over stuff, and the added weight. I own several other types which are bulky, cumbersome, just to uncomfortable to carry. I've been carrying this for 6 months. The job I have has me on my feet, and this bag is on my shoulder 5 days a week. Again, it you're looking to light weight, you carry minimal gear, CCW, small iPad, keys, pens, a few small items...This is hands down the sling pack for you..

Great look and concept

The zippers will not flow through the corners of the bag due to its shape. Great look and concept, but it is always a pain, am stopping using this bag. Drag.

Great Man Bag for Travel

Durability, usefulness, never out of style, resilient, and good looking. This bag is tough and holds my 9th gen iPad, Sony headphones, passport, wallet, keys, flashlight (personal issue lol) and mobile. I’ve owned other bags, but this one is not too big and it’s not too small. It’s comfortable to carry while you’re dragging your carry-on around the airport and has a great grab handle. The zippers all work great with those unique thumb grabbers. I could say more about just a bag but it’s a good bag. Highly recommended.
