Not made for Dometic toilets

Usually it takes me 5 minutes max to swap a lid. This took over an hour on a Domestic toilets. Why? This is designed for a socket or box end wrench install, the Dometic is designed for exactly not this. There is ZERO clearance for a socket wrench and barely, barely and short 4" box wrench which I guarantee 99.99% of the people reading this review DON'T have. There isn't enough clearance for the Bemis nut to screw straight on. I had to wiggle and lift A LOT to get the long nut in. I had one of these lids on a non Dometic stool and it was great. However due to the way this is installed (no bolt access from the top), if you get this and try an install on a Dometic, the laughter you hear in your head is me, (the other is insanity) because you have been forewarned Yes I finally got it installed but I don't plan on doing it again.

Does NOT wiggle or wobble

This toilet seat is the first that I've installed that does NOT wiggle or wobble at the hinges. It was simple to install and I appreciate that the hinges are polished chrome rather than plastic that too often come with toilet seats. It's comfortable, sturdy and easy to clean. Very pleased with my purchase.

Quality, and easy install

This seat is made of quality construction and looks great. It took me less than ten minutes to install this seat and after a month of use, it is soft and easy to clean.

Super easy to install

Not sure why some say difficult to install. Took maybe 5 minutes. Follow instructions, thread the rod into the seat, thread the small clip onto the rod, be sure to start the flat side so that it lays flat against the metal hinges, put rods through the toilet holes, and then thread the other pieces onto the rod. I hand tightened both sides then used a ratchet with 13mm socket and tightened down. This will suck the clips down into the porcelain. Tighten until the nuts break off as instructions say.

Small opening, decent quality

Works well, small opening works good for extremely skinny person that falls in standard seat opening.

Hole too small

Hello I had to return this product due to the seat hole is too small ...iam in good shape 205 pounds , medium size ass and let's just say above average Size in front , well when I sit it's comfy but most men need to pee at same time as number two is happening and I can't get my bit in the hole comfortably to relieve myself properly , I had to write this for other guys that know what I'm talking about and hopefully prevent them from printing the return label and sending it back for refund . For smaller folks like 120lbs in weight I'd say this might be the perfect seat for you.

We absolutely LOVE this toilet seat. It honestly doesn’t shift side to side while sitting/cleaning!! Which is what ALL other toilet seats have done and we hated it!! These (I bought 3 of them) are the only ones I’ll buy from now on!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Horrible. Cracked plastic seam after less than 3 months

It's a really comfy toilet seat, however after less than 3 months one of the seams came apart. No impressed. Clicked on the Amazon link for Mayfair Product Support. The link takes you to a golf course by the same name. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
