Okay for my needs

I had knee replacement surgery and this was my back up. I had a hard time walking to the bathroom. Now I need it for my bladder issues at night as I will never be able to walk to the bathroom without drenching myself even with the highest size poise pad. The only down side is the metal bar in the front pushes into my legs when I sit and it is painful. . But for the price and the purpose it is fine.

Good and adjustable

We got this to help me through a knee replacement. It adjusts easily. The bowl removes easily for cleaning if you use it. We used it without the bowl, to simply offer a higher seat. It was a huge help

Very pleased with bedside commode

I purchased the bedside commode for my elderly mother who was just discharged from the hospital after major surgery. The commode fits nicely near the bed (it doesn't take up too much space) so she doesn't have to walk all the way to the bathroom. The bucket is great, you just have to pull it up (using the handle) and pour the contents into the bathroom toilet bowl to flush. I pour water and cleaning solution/soap into the bucket and swish it around to clean it a bit and dump it into the toilet bowl. Once rinsed, I like to pour a little bit of Lysol liquid (or Mr. Clean any cleaning liquid) and leave it in there, then place it back on the commode stand. It is sturdy enough for my mom (she's about 120 lbs). I recommend this product.

Lightweight so it is easy to move

Pro: --Lightweight; --Fairly good directions are helped by the assembly video on the Amazon site where I placed the order --Parts were all wrapped in plastic to avoid damage despite the fact that they moved around in the box Con: --I had to return the first order because the parts were not wrapped and there was damage to the seat --3 white stickers on the cross beam are hard to remove and look bad if assembled with the paper holder on the right side (when sitting on the seat). If the holder is on the left, the cross beam with the stickers is at the back of the commode and cannot be seen. It was too hard to take it apart after assembling to switch the cross beam locations. --I am 5'7" and had to put the legs at the highest position. I would have preferred to have the seat an inch higher, but the legs were as long as they would go

well-made but uncomfortable

Easy to assemble and sturdy but for anyone overweight more than 20lbs not at all comfortable in spite of the fact it holds up to 350lbs.
