This product rust after two weeks in service

Amazon sells a lot of Chinese products that just don't have the quality that we expect to have. When the label on the wire says stainless, one would tend to think that it wouldn't rust--not so. I would suggest checking out the manufacturer of any product before you buy it from Amazon. This isn't the 1st time that I got trash from this site. Liz's house was completed a few months ago, she is on the beach and her wires and components are complete rust. Toms house was done two weeks ago and the wire and components on his handrails are beginning to rust. I have about 6 houses that I am about to go back and completely rebuild their handrails because of the rust. Mophorn wire will rust--don't buy it!!! Perry P. Texas

T316 Stainless Steel Cable, 1/8'' x 1000 ft, Braided Aircraft Wire Rope with 1x19 Strands Construction across the top through the loops with a come along to tighten it my Privacy Fence Screen, 50FT x 6FT of 550 ft. instead of using a fence I put 4x4 up and used , I did this to keep my 2 small dogs in a large area to play in

So cheap and a quality product

Doing my deck railing with this cable and other connections I found on Amazon made my deck look better, and was actually cheaper than using wood balusters. Would 100% do this again. Tip: buy good cable cutters and a crimper tool.

Noticeable striping on cable

When removed from the box I immediately noticed a striped pattern along the length of the cable. It appears as if some of the 19 strands differed in properties during manufacturing. I also noticed when I rub my finger along the length of the cable it does not feel uniform. To give benefit of the doubt I viewed the cable in multiple settings, inside, outside, full light, shadow, etc. I also had 2 other people look to make sure my eyes weren't fooling me. Two major concerns... 1) 10 stacked rows and the striping will stand out like a sore thumb. 2) Is the corrosion resistance jeopardized in some of the individual strands? When looking through photos of negative reviews involving rusting, I noticed rusting in a similar striped pattern. I immediately contacted Amazon to initiate a replacement/return. A new reel is coming my way and I'm eager to see if this problem still exists. Will update this review accordingly. Update: New cable real came and similar striping exists. Not as bad but still present. I'm done with this company. While waiting for this cable to arrive I ordered from another company and the product is fantastic. This is the cable shown in my last photo. Bright stainless steel with no abnormalities. Shout out to e-rigging.com for a quality product

good quality stainless cable

I use this for guy wires in outdoor antenna installations. I hold wire antennas up, bird feeders, etc. Can take a hundred pounds easily, won't stretch, won't corrode. Better than rope when a conducting support is needed. Ideal for pulling loads through tree branches, as it tends to cut its way through small snags. I have yet to break it using muscle power only. Not for large loads. This is much stronger than most rope available in hardware stores, and is not that visible due to its small diameter.
