Go-to Ankle Brace

This is my go-to ankle brace. Sturdy and pretty comfortable. The newest version has a stiffer lining on the inside of the stirrup (I assume to help it with wear/tear) but it was uncomfortable, so I cut it out. Other than needing that alteration, still happy with the Mueller braces.

The laces a way toooooooo long

The product quality and materials are very good. I like the support and needed flexibility where it is needed it provides. The only reason it is not a 5 star review is that the laces a very long. I will cut mine at least 12" to not have that extra mess dangling around.

Way too large

I ordered a medium brace which was the correct size according to the Mueller guide. However, it is way too large. With the laces completely tightened on it my ankle can still move around freely within the brace. I never wore it outside of the two minutes I tried it on it because it was so large. I wanted to exchange it for a small however it was an unreturnable item by the seller. I was excited for this brace, big bummer to waste the money on it.

Updated **This item isn't eligible for return** Now stuck with two braces that don't fit :\ Updated after purchase/fitting of downsized brace: Bought a small (downsized from medium) and does fit tighter. I anticipated it would also provide more support at the heel to ankle, but it does not, even after a thick sock and compression sleeve. Ideally I'd downsize yet again, but worry about the sacrificed comfort - gotto return both. Wish me luck; I'm moving on. Original review: My foot dimensions clearly suggests a medium, but this brace is significantly loose. I don't feel too much support and stabilization from the instep up the heel. I wouldn't wear this barefoot, though I don't believe wearing thick socks would make a difference. I'm going to order another brace a size lower. Nice and Snug

Good product to wear on your ankle. I find these tie-down braces much better than the slip-over or compression ankle sleeves. The braces allow me to adjust the level of compression on my ankle. And, the firmness of support is much better than those other types of ankle braces. Thank you very much.

Saved me from further injuries

I rolled my ankle badly playing football a couple of years ago and decided to get a pair of ATF3 braces to help prevent further injury. These have saved me from likely injuring my ankles again on multiple occasions. If your foot size is on the border between 2 sizes on the Amazon listing, I would recommend considering a size lower than the size indicated on the Amazon listing. I am a size 11 and had a large pair of ATF3 braces which I replaced recently because of wear and tear. They were fine, but it left no room for adjustment as the two sides of the braces closed up completely when tight. The medium size is a much better fit for me and allows me to tighten the braces more than the large did. I highly recommend these if you're prone to injuring your ankles. While the "wetsuit" material sock-style supports that you can get are cheaper, the ATF3 braces are much better and help to immobilise the joint to a far greater extent than other ankle supports.

Atf 3. Good upgrade

I need a ankle brace to do sport activity due to a chronic injury and find this version atf 3 a good upgrade from the atf2. 5 stars

Fabulous

I have achilles tendonitis in both heels and these are one of the very few supports that do not press against my achilles and make it worse. Also, very well made. An absolute bargain for the price. Couldn't recommend them enough
