PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Do ice cold wipes trigger unhappy cries during diaper changes? The Warm Glow Wipe Warmer by Munchkin will soothe baby's bottom and warm mom's heart. Help make diaper changing more enjoyable for your little one with the comfort of a warm wipe. This convenient wipe warming system stores up to 100 standard baby wipes and dispenses them conveniently from a flip top lid. Its low voltage, top down warming system ensures a warm wipe every time without the risk of browning, drying, or discoloration. It also features a soft glow night light that helps with nighttime changes and automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of use. A built in window allows you to keep tabs on your wipes supply without opening the unit, while the tightly sealing system keeps wipes moist over time. • The power adapter is compatible with and should be plugged into a standard household 110 120 volt AC outlet only. Do not plug into a 220 volt or alternative voltage AC outlet. Only use with a Class 2 adapter. Usage : Place Warm Glow Wipe Warmer on a flat, stable and suitable surface. Slide locks (located on each side of the warmer) forward, and lift the main lid. Remove “Pop-Up” wipes or “Original/Standard” wipes from their original package, and insert into warmer. If “Pop-Up” wipes are used, push top wipe up through the opening under the smaller lid. Close both lids, and slide locks back into locked position. Be sure smaller lid is also closed securely. Do not over-fill with wipes. Both lids should be able to completely close. To access a “Pop-Up” wipe, open smaller lid and pull. To access an “Original/ Standard” wipe, unlock and open main lid. Be sure to slide locks back into place when finished. (Please note, the use of “Pop-Up” wipes is preferred. To use “Original/Standard” wipes, you must open the main lid each time a wipe is needed, which may contribute to the drying of wipe). Because of the continuous low levels of heat and moisture associated with the warmer, unit must be placed on a compatible surface (wood and painted surfaces are not recommended). The light on this thing is SO bright! Lights up the entire room!

This wipe warmer works great, but when I am trying to get my non-sleeping baby to sleep while she is screaming the light on this thing drives me insane. Its incredibly bright and does not seem to have an off switch. It only gets brighter if you press it. I am not even sure why there's a light on it in the first place. I have to cover it with a towel and remove the towel every time I need a wipe, and then it lights up the room again. We are really struggling with our baby's sleep and keeping the room dark is key. If I forget to cover the light, it kind of ruins it for us. If you are a parent struggling to get your newborn to sleep, you get it. Everything needs to be in perfect order to get the baby down and when the wipe warmer light ruins it, it makes you want to throw it in the trash.

I like everything about this warmer except for the lock.

I like this wipe warmer it keeps the wipes warm and there is plenty of room for a full pack of wipes that fit inside. There is one small light that constantly stays on which does not bother me. You can also turn the middle light on and its great for having to get up in the middle of the night and cant see anything and you can use it as a night light. The only thing I do not like about this warmer is the side locks move and do not stay locked sometimes, not sure why but I just deal with it and re lock the top.

So far, so great!

I've been looking for a nice wipe warmer that actually keeps the wipes warm. So far this warmer is doing the trick and I like the way it looks as well. There are 2 little indented places on the front of the warmer (a production/molding issue I would guess, no, not as in fungus type mold. lol). They definitely won't stop me from using this product. I haven't had it very long at all, but it seems to be working just fine at this point. I really like that the cord is in 2 pieces. The part that plugs into the wall and the part that's attached to the warmer, there's a connector for plugging them together and it makes things much easier for us since we leave the warmer on the back of our toilet and the outlet is behind our vanity. Very convenient.

Better with slight modification

The Good: Overall this is a nice warmer. Seems to be a good temperature and doesn't dry out the wipes like our old model. Holds a ton of wipes. The "push button" light makes late night changes easier without waking siblings. The Bad: The "always on" led light is far too bright for a kids room. It's basically a daytime led, no idea why they made this design choice. Took away a star for that. The fix: There is a simple way to fix the super bright "always on" light. The "always on" and "push button" are separate LEDs. To reduce the amount of light, I removed the philips head screws on the under side of the lid. The top of the lid can pry up enough to access the top LED which is the "always on". I then wrapped white electrical tape around the light to produce the amber light in the photo. If you want to black out the light completely, use black electrical tape. Picture 1 is the end result in a dark room. Picture 2 is the still fully functioning "push button" light.

Good product overall

In general, I like this product. It made a noticeable difference in my baby’s comfort during diaper changes. However, there are a few things I don’t like. It has a built in nightlight that’s convenient, but doesn’t provide much light. It also has a small light that’s on all the time and you can’t turn it off. I’ve tried a variety of wipes and some seem to have dried out, but others don’t so I think that’s more about the wipes than this product. The wipes lose their heat very quickly though within seconds of being out of the warmer.

Perfect for baby and momma!

I'm very happy with this warmer. It has made a world of a difference in diaper changes. Baby still kicks and wiggles, but at least I don't have to see the discomfort of using a cold wipe. Have you used a cold wipe on the toilet? I have. It's definitely not enjoyable. This holds a good amount of wipes. I can fit this whole parents choice pack in there. It warms from the top and keeps wipes moist. I like that it locks on the sides. It had a very long cord which is an added benefit. Wipes aren't hot, they are warm when you first pull them out. They do go cold quickly though.

My go-to Baby Shower Gift

I did not have baby showers for my kids, so we did out a lot of our own product research. The baby wipe warmer was a little unexpected but we gave it a shot with one....and then rushed out to get a second! This wipe warmer nailed it every time and, in a house of boys, it graduated to toddler-kid, and my husband loved it as well. I honor baby registries but I always add in this product; it's affordable and just a little something extra that makes life easier for new parents. I can't tell you how many parents are shocked something like this is out there! And it's fantastic for moms/parents that aren't having a shower at all.

It maintains the wipes warm and moist

I love this brand but I feel this could be better. The wipes are warm and they star moist but the locks keep unlocking by themselves, so when I’m going to use a wipes I pull it and the top opens and I keep having to lock it again. Also the light is too bright and there’s no way to turn it off so every night I have to put a sweater on top.

Almost caused a fire

My son was born mid January and we've been using the warmer since then (just over 4 months). Today we found smoke coming off the cord - it was starting to burn (see image). Could have caused a house fire. Obviously some sort of issue here. Wouldnt recommend :(

So unnecessary...

I wonder if I’ll regret all the time I spent reading Amazon reviews on baby products on my deathbed. This wiper warmer is completely unnecessary. Wipes are tepid at best + it needs to be plugged in. I thought it would charge but no, you need ah outlet. Bear in mind if your changing table isn’t near a socket.

My baby is almost 6 months now but I decided to bite the bullet and get him one like I've always wanted to from the start. I wish I had listened to myself instead of others saying we didn't need this. We use wipes to not only clean for diaper changes, but also for cleaning his hands, face and neck crevices especially after a messy meal. This product is GREAT. I followed advice from a previous review that said to leave 1/2 inch from the top to keep wipes from drying out and I have not had any issues with drying out or discoloration. I use the pampers sensitive wipes. The first time my baby felt a warm wipe on his tush, he actually gave me a huge smile. I also do find it easier to clean poop with warmer wipes. Keep the lid down otherwise the warm will escape because it warms from the top down. Highly recommend it and I do not believe you are spoiling your baby with this. Our house gets pretty chilly in the fall and water so I wanted to be prepared.

For washcloth wipes, this is the best thing ever.

If I am using disposable wipes, this would have been a superfluous use of money (for us. Neither of our kids gave two hoots about the temp of the cloths after a month or two), but when I am home and am using washcloths this can not be beaten. I take my cloths, fold them in half, stack em, wet the whole thing down with warm water and put it in the box. I then pour in a few capfuls of witch hazel to keep them from getting "funky" and I am good to go! I can't say enough wonderful things about this wipe warmer for my reusable cloths.

Sirve pero...

Me gustó el producto porque sí calienta las toallitas, no requiere de una esponja como la otra que tengo y le caben un paquete completo de toallitas Huggies. Así que vale la pena. Lo que no me gustó y por eso disminuí dos estrellas es que tiene una luz blanca muy fuerte (aunque esté apagado) lo que hace casi imposible ponerlo en el cuarto de los niños, pues a mí parecer es mucha luz y mis hijos están acostumbrados a dormir sin luces. Así qué hay que considerar eso. A mi como adulto me molestan las lucesitas para dormir también.
