Perfect for handheld chainsaws with 6" bars
This was the perfect fit for my no-name, cordless, handheld, 6" bar, chainsaw. My chains can now last 5x longer and cut 5x faster. It was not difficult for me to sharpen at the correct angle just by eyeballing. YMMV.

hard to find, necessary tool
I use this to sharpen a Stihl GTA 28, which is a hand-held homeowners (i.e. not commercial grade) pruner with about six-inch bar. The chain costs about $15-$20 dollars. I know a surveyor who uses a GTA and he just throws away the delicate chain after about 30 minutes of use. As a homeowner, I'd rather not throw away a chain used only once. With this very thin file I can sharpen the chain saw blade in about ten minutes max, saving twenty bucks.

files things
So this item is used to file things and make them smaller. This will not help you with any office work. I little confusing but works well for what it was made for.

Can't beat it
Needed a 1/8 file to sharpen my stihl chain blades for my long reach branch trimmer, perfect for the job. Don't forget to order their handle though.

Tight radius round file for plunge lines
I needed this to file a tight radius at the plunge line on a knife blade. All my chain files seem to have disappeared and I can't remember the last time I filed a chain by hand. So, this file will likely get used for finishing knife blades and wind up put away "someplace I can find it when I need it again."
