The description says "2-pack", but there's only one.

I can't imagine what the problem is. People complain that the "two-pack" only contains one twist-tie. Why doesn't Amazon insist it be corrected? Why does the seller keep running up critical reviews, rather than just correct it themselves? The tie - all one of it - is just fine. I'm using it to replace a corroded part of the lower rack of my dishwasher. It seems to do the job. But the description is wrong, wrong, wrong. UPDATE: As of today, if you want the 64" version, you have two choice. You can buy the black one, and pay for one. Or you can buy the yellow 2-pack, pay for two, and get one. How can both Amazon and the seller be so brain-dead?

Caution - 64" 2 pack is only a 1 pack!!

I needed two of these, so our of an abundance of caution, even though the description clearly says 2 pack, the picture for the 64" version shows x1 on the packaging. I just wanted to share this in case anyone else has this concern. If you need 2, you need to purchase quantity 2 for the 64" version, not just qty 1.

Makes a good door pull

I use a motorized scooter in a senior living community. My scooter is over-size because I can't bend one leg, so the extra length at the front of the scooter makes it difficult for me to reach door knobs. I attach one of these ties to the doorknob and pull on it to open the door. I choose the length of the tie based on how hard it is to reach the knob and how much I have to use to wrap around the door knob/handle. Some doors have a large handle rather than a conventional knob, and I use a 6' gear tie to securely attach the tie to the handle and then allow enough length to make a loop to pull.

Misleading description

The item name says its a 64"- 2pack and it definitely is not a 2 pack. The description goes on to say it's a single piece so it's says one thing and then another. Change the name please!!!

a solution that quickly finds a problem (and fixes it well!)

Lately I have fallen in love with these Nite Ize gear ties. I have them from 3" all the way to 64". I temporarily used this to hang a wreath while determining christmas decoration locations. I've used the 32" ones to wrap up hoses while winterizing. The uses are plentiful and being able to reuse them after tying up something to hanging something to letting the kids get creative building objects with them is great. I also have a 16" one set up hanging off my desk as a place to hang my headphones to keep them out of the way and from being beaten up. If you have the money to go for a higher quality item that won't let you down, get one of these. You'll wonder why you need one so long until you start finding that interesting use that you didn't realize you had.

YES, these are fantastic!

YES, these are fantastic! I'm using 2 of these 64" ties to hold my 28' ladder to the ladder rack. (lays flat) (one tie at front rack, one tie at rear rack) I was using a very long rope to connect the ladder to 2 "V" upright sections of my ladder rack. (a front and a rear vertical style) It takes me far less time to use these ties compared to rope and the ladders seem more secure. (a little hard to believe, but true)
