The perfect compact flashlight--I now own six!

I tried several compact flashlights and didn't like any of them until I saw this one at the checkout line at Home Depot and bought it. I love it! The buttons are all on the body of the flashlight, not awkwardly at the end. The flashlight has bright and dim options, and you can slide the top up to create a small lantern. The red light can be set to steady, flashing, or SOS. I liked it so much that I went on Amazon and ordered five more so that I could have one ready to use in multiple locations in our home. Great purchase.

Great little flashlight lantern and “parasitic drain”

I like that it takes a standard AA. It lasts 2 hours on hi. 5 stars if it has a pocket clip as an anti-rolling device. Update : This flashlight slowly drains the AA battery when it is powered off. Make sure you have spare batteries.

Good product

This product needs a caribiner or round ring to enable it to be hung. The Flat slots are not easy to use.

Flashlight w/lantern feature - great for kid's first flashlight

I bought my daughter one for sleepaway camp and it was perfect. The flashlight was great for venturing outside at night. You can easily pull the body apart to turn it into a lantern for reading in your bunk after lights-out. Now, she keeps it on her night stand. it's compact and the battery lasts a long time. I don't think she's used the red-light feature

Nite Ize! Love this line of products! Well made compact bright light. Fits in your pocket or purse easily. I plan to buy a bigger one for my home soon. Also love their clear water-proof cell phone case for SUP/Kayak, etc.

Drains battery even if left off.

I loved the design of this, and bought several. I discovered that it drains the battery even if left off or in lock mode. Having not used two flashlights for months, batteries that were new are dead.
