I think I got my monies worth

My first impression: The shipper did a poor job of securing contents. This is a heavy, perhaps 10 lb unit and secured in its manufacturing packaging quite well, however the shipper put it into a box 4 times larger then the product without any packing. That must have been a thrill ride for sure. Today I will install the charger on my boat and attempt to revive a near death, high dollar, deep cycle, marine battery that my current charger allowed to expire over the winter. If all goes as planned or as hoped I may revisit this review. I am very hopeful because the production of this charger is a class act in all appearances. Registering for the warranty service was not quite as easy as advertised for this model.

I was skeptical at the price

I was skeptical of the price but the photos do not do this unit justice. It is very dense, heavy duty unit. I purchased this for my gmc 3500 with dual batteries. I don't use it as much and was struggling with the batteries being maintained. The smaller maintainers were not cutting it. It comes boxed very well. I think it said made in Japan, which is about 1000x better than china. Happy so far.

So I bought this for my 96 diesel. Truck has two batteries i figured the 10 amp single bank would be good enough but I don’t think it’s putting out enough to charge both batteries. However, my truck doesn’t get driven much as i have a work vehicle. I believe i had a battery that was completely dead. The first week I let the maintainer charge and then put it on The repair mode and it brought The other artery back to life! So far it gas Saved me in buying two new batteries that cost 500 for a pair. For anyone with a single battery for a car a truck that doesn’t get used i think this would be plenty enough amperage for you.

Repaired 3 batteries

Wow. 130 for a battery charger seems like a lot until you use this bad boy. My trailer was left plugged in to my truck, and the batteries for both were run flat. Trailer battery at 4v, and the truck at 6v. Both are older AGMs and my current battery tender would flash fault after trying to charge them for a few minutes. After about a day per battery, the truck and trailer are all good to go. Coincidentally the battery in my Off-roader died. It was at 1v. Selecting repair got my batter fixed up. Two things to note. All repairs essentially charged the batteries to Dead 11.6v, so I needed to run the charge on them after repair. These don’t come with battery terminal clamp. So you’ll need to buy your own.

Very cool and well built

Very well packaged..heavyweight it's not a light duty charger very happy with it .I hooked it up to my solar power system so when generator is running it will automatically start changing.

Very pleased

Fast delivery, received on a Saturday! Bought it to charge the lithium battery (“house battery”, 100A/h) in my van as a backup when the alternator is not running and/or there’s not enough sun. Well built, looks sturdy. Easy to use. Works well so far. Plugged it one afternoon and the battery was full the next morning. Works for lithium battery WITH BMS.
