Durable, easy to clean surface, comfortable cushion, strong grip on surface

We saw the GelPro anti-fatigue mat at a friend's place and like it very much. She got it from Bed Bath and Beyond, but it is way too expensive ($80 after 20% off). After some search and found this one was on sale with over 60% off and shipped free. So I give it a try at 1/3 the cost of the GelPro one. This one has a very durable vinyl surface which is around 1/8" in thickness. The cushion underneath is approximately 3/8" thick. So I guess the 1/2" is including both layers. The total area of the mat is 2'x3', however, there is an edge of around 2" all around that tampered off. Because of the thick vinyl surface, it does not feel as soft as the GelPro one; however, it is very comfortable standing on it. Nevertheless, without the basket texture, this one is a lot easier to clean up and the surface should be less prone to damage by dropping silver wares on it. The Red Stop bottom surface also works very well. It stays wherever we put it. I will definitely buy again if the price goes back down.

Not quite as much cushion as I'd hoped for and it moves around a little on my carpet but overall decent.

We bought this to replace the same style of mat we had for 15+ years. We anticipate this one should last as long, if not longer.

It has only a little finish on it so things stick to it and the backing is too squooshy -- I have one in another location that I got elsewhere that's great but this one feels and looks bad.
