Squeeze excerisers are used in hand and arm rehab and in grib improvement workout programs. Wrist, finger and thumb flexors are the most common muscles targeted. Squeeze excerisers are also a great way to help relieve stress while watching television, riding in a car, or at work while on the computer. Squeezing the ball causes muscle tension followed by muscle relaxation after release. This excerise performed repeatedly releases considerable muscle tension and helps to relieve stress. A common stress relief exercise is to squeeze the exerciser at about 30 percent of maximum pressure about 10 to 20 times in a row, and then rest for a few minutes before repeating each set.

Good to exercise hand/fingers.
A little sticky and has a sort of orange fragrance. The maintenance directions indicate to wash with warm water after use and apply a little baby powder before storing. I just keep it in the packaging it came in and store in a cool place. It's firmness is like most foam balls but it is a little larger with a different feel---I have 3 types of balls, this one, a foam one, and a small fabric covered one (not sure what's inside)---provides for variety. Does help if you have trigger finger and have a job with heavy typing like I do. My orthopedic hand doctor recommended it.

MORE PAIN LESS GAIN
I just had very recently started feeling this crippling effect in my right hand & my coworker told it sounded like carpol tunnel so l checked at local stores for a therapy squeeze ball with luck locally l went on Amazon.com. There were not a lot to choose from so l picked the least exspensive one. When it arrived in the mail l was unfortunately suprised at how large and ferm it is. I was hoping it would be squishable yet resistant but instead it's like squeezing a very firm piece of fruit which discurraged me from using it as much as l would like to.

The orange was firmer than I thought
Its a semi-soft sorta gel rubber ball–was looking for something to begin exercising my hand after carpal tunnel surgery. It is too hard for me to use to start with. Will eventually use it as my strength improves

Missing the fabric cover.
The Squeeze ball was missing the soft fabric cover that the previous ball I purchased had. I would not recommend this product because it felt sticky.

It works
I keep this next to my recliner and use it every day after I warm my hand with my maist heating pad. My hands are feeling better.

Blue is nice and firm
I had one of these for a yew years an use it regularly in my hands as a stress ball at work and also for back massage to roll against the wall. feels great! Unfortunately i misplaced my first one so just ordered another one. A tennis ball just doesn't do the same thing. Highly recommend the blue one. It does pick up dirt and dust, but a quick rinse under the tap and its good as new.

Mine was a lemon.
The one I received was not in good condition. I returned it. It is possible that I received a lemon and that it is normally a good product, I don't know.

Too sticky.
This ball is WAY too sticky. After 1 use, it gathered (what seems like) all of the dust and crumbs from our apartment. It wasn't pleasant squeezing it after that. We had to throw it away.

Product as described. A little to large to manipulate ...
Product as described. A little to large to manipulate. Smaller egg-shaped product offered by the same seller is much easier to squeeze effectively.
