These are convenient to use and can be stacked
I like the size and shape of these containers since they fit efficiently in the fridge and they can be stacked. I have had six for one year and have used all the time. I am now very disappointed with the product because one has now developed multiple cracks in the bottom and the rounded sides at the bottom with a large crack running across the bottom. I felt that those who described cracks occurring were not using properly, however, I have always washed mine by hand and taken care of them, so I had my materials engineer husband examine why the cracks have occurred. His conclusion, the material is too thin and cannot withstand the lack of pressure created by the vacuum seal. Some companies, Avid Armor for example, sell canisters that are far more expensive. I have two different products they sell and those are made with much thicker material. These containers are quite expensive and should last for far longer than one year. I feel it is just a matter of time before the rest of mine develop a crack. If you just want the product to last a year or so, take a chance on them. Otherwise, find products made with thicker material or use mason jars. Mason jar vacuum sealer hoods can be purchased for regular and wide mouth jars. I would not recommend these containers until they are manufactured with thicker material.

CRACKS
First time used to freeze sauce and the bottom developed cracks all on the bottom. If this is how it performed on first use i'm not sure i want to see the next time. this was an issue in the reviews when i bought it but figured i would give it a try. As no mention from company about cracks and why it happens I can't say how new one will work. I have the Nutrachef vacuum system so why is this happening? Will update if there is a solution.

Dangerous
Used maybe 3-4 times, sealed it, went to put it away and it exploded, very lucky no-one was hurt. Very dangerous.

It’s a great product
Perfect for fruits I love berries but they don’t last to long in the frig but with the container they never go to waste.... also I set the machine to gentle before using it with the container

Works GREAT
Things stay fresh 2WEEKS PLUS longer....mushrooms were in for 3 wks and were market fresh! Love these! Looking for larger to hold full heads of lettuce /veggie etc. ????????

Excellent product!
Excellent product for my nutri chef food saver. Perfect size for a salad for lunch or leftovers. Works easily with the attachment that came with my vacuum sealer machine.
